I tutor Mathematics at GCSE, A-level, BSc and MSc level. A bit about me and why I would love to be your tutor in mathematics! I am currently pursuing my PhD in Artificial Intelligence at University College London, where my research focuses on applying AI to enhance energy efficiency in the built environment. Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University. I also completed an MSc in Statistics and an MSc in Applied Biotechnology and Biosciences, both from Imperial College London, with Merit. My other academic achievements include A* A* A grades in Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Biology A-Levels, along with 12 A* grades at GCSE in various subjects, including FSMQ Mathematics, and OCR Additional Mathematics. I also achieved a Merit in Advanced Extension Award Mathematics (AEA). In terms of tutoring, I have some experience tutoring GCSE Sciences and Mathematics, as well as A-level Biology and A-level Mathematics. Currently, I am in the process of becoming a Postgraduate teaching assistant at UCL. As part of this training, I actively teach several lectures and workshops each week in mathematics and computer science at MSc and BSc levels. Additionally, I offer career coaching for individuals seeking finance-related internships and preparing for interviews.

Salut ! Je m'appelle Ilyass, je suis en Master de Mathématiques Appliquées à l'Imperial College et je viens d'arriver de Paris il y a environ un mois ! J'ai une solide formation en mathématiques et j'ai enseigné aux étudiants de leur licence en France à se préparer à l'examen national des "Grandes Ecoles". Je les ai aidés à l'oral et à l'écrit, que ce soit pour des dissertations en français ou pour résoudre des problèmes de mathématiques et de physique ! Je parle couramment l'arabe, le français, l'anglais et l'espagnol, et j'essaie également d'apprendre le japonais. 3rd Year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have 3 years' experience tutoring Maths & Physics both in person and online and I am very familiar with GCSE & A-Level specification. My lessons aim to develop understanding of a topic from the ground up rather than just making students memorise lines in a textbook. This is achieved through frequent use of examples and analogies which students can visualise and relate to. On top of this I regularly provide exam practice and feedback so that students become more confident in applying their knowledge and are not intimidated by the pressure of exams. In my classes the students will be a part of an interactive session of solving time-sensitive short questions as a brainstorming exercise, proceeding with covering topics from the start of the syllabus, solving questions as we move on and understanding the difficult level that the student is easily able to pass. This will be followed by recognising the topics that the student is finding difficult and then explaining them through short lectures and diagrams, helping the student have a better grasp at the concepts. I will ensure constant feedback after each of my classes to understand the students problems and tailoring my lessons according to that. Moreover the students' progress will be monitored and tracked through short weekly assessments based on past paper questions allowing the student to be comfortable with the exam-style questions and avoid falling for the exam pressure. Learn Mathematics without getting bored. To make it relatable and interesting, with different topics you learn about the real life applications where they are applied. That way, each topic will be more accessible for understanding and you will be able to prepare better.

Récemment diplômé d'une école d'ingénieur française, je suis aujourd'hui étudiant en troisième cycle à l'Imperial College. J'ai toujours aimé les mathématiques et j'aimerais partager mon amour pour la science avec tous ceux qui en ont besoin. Mon objectif est de rendre les mathématiques et la physique plus simples et plus amusantes à étudier afin d'aider le plus grand nombre d'élèves possible. J'ai déjà donné des cours de mathématiques en France et j'ai développé une certaine façon de travailler. Habituellement, je revis d'abord le cours magistral avec l'étudiant, nous lisons les principes et je prends tout le temps nécessaire pour répondre à ses éventuelles questions. Ensuite, nous passons aux exercices permettant à l'étudiant de pratiquer et d'appliquer ce qui a été appris lors du cours magistral. La seule clé est vraiment d'avancer à votre rythme, il n'y a pas de précipitation et l'objectif est que vous atteigniez la compréhension que vous désirez.

Actuellement en double diplôme à Imperial College dans le cadre de ma quatrième année à l’École polytechnique, je vous propose des cours de sciences (maths, physique, chimie) pour tout niveau. 
En plus de ma formation en classe préparatoire PCSI/PC* (lycée Pierre de Fermat) et à Polytechnique, j’ai eu l’opportunité d’être professeur de physique à l’Université Saint Joseph de Beyrouth au Liban pour un stage de 6 mois. J’ai par ailleurs tutoré plusieurs étudiants au lycée et dans le supérieur durant mes années à Polytechnique. Fort de ces expériences, je saurai m’adapter à tes besoins pour te transmettre savoirs et méthodes avec rigueur et enthousiasme !

I am a Pure Math Major, currently pursuing her MSc in Mathematics and Finance at Imperial. I have given maths lessons for three years at all levels. I will do my best to transmit how beautiful, fun and incredibly easy math is. I have experience in coding with Python and therefore able to teach to beginners.

I am a qualified primary school teacher and can give classes to children in any primary school subject. I also have a teaching English as a foreign language certificate and can give English classes to anyone of any age wanting to improve their English.

I am biomedical Science graduate from Plymouth University. I enjoy teaching and has had previous tutoring experience working with Einstein tutoring, providing one to one tutoring session. I have has students that range from year 7 to GCSE, and have been tutoring in various subjects such as Biology, chemistry , English and Maths. I acknowledge that each individual student has a unique way of learning, and therefore try to cater to their individual needs. I myself have a strong academic background, currently I have received a first class BSc(Hons) degree. In addition to this, I have also achieved 4A*, 3A and 2B including Maths and Science in my GCSE. I usually tend to use various materials for tutoring such as the textbooks, powerpoint presentations and even in some cases seminars and videos that are useful and available online. I tend to get feedback from the student and then try to adapt more to their style of learning. I also make sure that I am aware of the progress a student makes by giving them test and record to their score as an indication to myself and the student of the progress we have made so far. I also tend to start the follow up lesson by usually reviewing what was done in the last lesson. Since I am currently doing a degree, I can only commit to tutoring during the weekends. In summary, I am an highly motivated and experienced tutor, with a background of providing private tuitions to students from diverse background.
