Trusted teacher: ===ABOUT ME=== Hello! My name is Eri, and I'm a very curious and adventurous person. I enjoy sharing experiences and ideas with people from all over the world. ^^ After completing my studies in Japan, I traveled and worked for several years in countries such as the US, Mexico, Italy, England, and Taiwan. Upon my return to Japan, I earned a Japanese language teaching qualification from the KEC Japanese Language Institute in Kyoto, after which I worked as a Japanese language teacher in Indonesia. There, I taught Japanese language and culture classes, and since then, seven years have passed, during which I have accumulated a wealth of experience. I believe that having fun while learning Japanese is more important than using it without making mistakes. It's a pleasure for me to be able to teach students interested in learning about a country as full of unique cultures as mine! I hope to create a small community of Japan lovers in Murcia. Some things I like about my country: - Watch sumo! - The music of Gen Hoshino, Yoasobi and that of the 80s. - Kore-eda's films. - The sleeves by Shigeru Mizuki and Mari Yamazaki. - Ghibli anime and comedies. - Food! I try to cook Japanese food with the ingredients I find in Murcia. And what interests you about Japan? Share it with me! ===METHOD=== As a conversation and grammar workbook I use Marugoto, an internationally recognized method for learning Japanese. Also, if you're interested in any specific cultural aspect, we can chat about it. There's a small Japanese library in my house. It's available for borrowing by students in the in-person class.

Trusted teacher: Certified abilities with JLPT N1 (Advanced Level) and over a decade of experience using Japanese. I will make an individual plan with the student, teach writing, pronunciation, characters, phrases, grammar, idioms, everyday language and much more. I will also share my best tips when studying Japanese. I can cover JLPT N5 to N2 levels or assist with your homework. I can teach you: 1) Pronunciation (my pronunciation is good for a foreigner so I can help you have a more natural sounding pronunciation early on because I put effort into it). 2) Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji 3) Beginner and intermediate speaking and vocabulary. 4) Advice on how to improve your Japanese by yourself and which resources and tools to use. 5) Digital flashcards to memorize vocabulary. 6) Correct your mistakes I learned Japanese by myself and moved to Japan where I went to uni for 4 years. By the time I graduated I got certified with the JLPT N1 (highest level) test. After graduation I worked for a top IT company in Tokyo where I used Japanese for work and also did some translation. Therefore I am well aware of the struggles of learning Japanese. I lived in Japan 6 years total and could already speak everyday Japanese from the moment I stepped into Japan (if my learning strategy and preparation worked for me then it must work for you as well!). My class should be online via skype. if you live in Chiang Mai, I can teach you in person. Certified English abilities with TOEIC score 940. Contact me first, think later! I will reply asap.
Japanese
Trusted teacher: Laureate of the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences, Chinese Studies, at the Confucius Institute. Having the teaching of foreign languages and audiovisual as a part-time job allowed me to gain experience; I know this area well and I am competent to lead a course. By working with comrades of different nationalities (French, Chinese, English, American, African ...) in festivals and seminars I have well developed the competence of cross-cultural communication. My courses are aimed at young and old alike, from those who want to know the basics of Mandarin to those who prepare for competitions or who wish to improve their pronunciation / accent. I can also teach you to write Chinese symbols if you want. Depending on the objectives of each, I undertake to propose an adapted methodology, which can then be discussed in order to be optimized according to the requests. Smiling in life and serious at work. My studies and my stay in China allow me a good command of the Chinese language, a rich knowledge of the didactics of Chinese, as well as a strong communication capacity. In addition, I have a good level of Mandarin Chinese (level 1,2 3 and 4 in the oral and written Mandarin test which is called HSK and HSKK). My academic background in journalism allowed me to perfect my journalistic writing skills which encouraged me to write many articles in Simplified Chinese, as well as I developed my translation skills. Except the language, I will be able to explain Chinese calligraphy and Chinese culture (Chinese history, mythology, Buddhism, Taoism, etc.) to you at the same time. I developed these subjects for 3 years and presented in the university "SKEMA Business School" for one year. Besides the Chinese language course, you can also learn about my Chinese culture topics. It's up to you. In addition, I master 2 Chinese instruments, the bamboo flute (Dizi / 笛子) and Guqin (古琴). If you are interested, I will be happy to give you instructions. I also do martial arts, we can talk about it. I look forward to your message!

Ai is a wonderful teacher. She's great at explaining all sorts of grammatical concepts and she's sweet with a good sense of humour to boot. I definitely recommend everyone who's interested in learning how to speak, write or read Japanese to consider taking lessons from her. If you're motivated and do the assigned homework, you'll make a lot of progress in a very small period of time. It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like my Japanese has improved considerably!
