I teach Russian from the very beginning - elementary (A1) - to higher levels. - During my lessons I'm trying to reach the best balance between grammar, conversation and other aspects of the language. - I won't let you forget about things that we studied months ago, we will keep using previous grammar topics with the new ones, words that you learnt before in new topics. New knowledge won't replace the old one, words won't go into the passive memory. - My goal is to help you understand the system of the Russian language, so that you were not limited by phrases that you learn during the lesson, but could make your own sentences. It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. Jiaqi has adopted her teaching approach to the age 5 and 6 of our sons and created a tailer-made sessions that contain crafting, drawing and game-playing that our boys love very much. While they really enjoy the sessions and the interaction is great we see the progress: our guys start teaching us Mandarin, read signs on all chinese products and show to their friends all the crafting they made together with Jiaqi. I'm happy to see that they learn Mandarin in such an organic way and highly recommend Jiaqi for any kind of learning classes with kids!

Rayen made an effort to contact me prior to the lesson to determine my level and inquire what I wished to focus on. She also called at the agreed upon time. These may seem like minor details, but not all teachers do these. She had appropriate level material ready to share and go over for the lesson. She made corrections as needed and readings were repeated as necessary. My only suggestion would be that she speak a bit more slowly. but this is a matter of individual taste.
