Hello, my name is Silvia! I am an Italian student of Violin, currently attending the 2nd year of the Master in Classical Music at KASK & Conservatorium in Gent. I already have experience in teaching music and violin to children and teenagers. In those occasions, I discovered how much transmitting my love for music to other people - children, teenagers, adults, any age! - is one of my highest goals within my musical career. I am aware that each student deserves a personal teaching approach, shaped on his/her own nature and attitude. I will help students strengthen and consolidate their technical skills on the instrument, but we will also have a lot of fun in playing music! The lessons will be held in English or in Italian.

I've spent my whole live practicing and playing cello and I can assure it's one of the most marvelous things one can do. Even if you struggle! I can teach either beginners or amateurs who want to get better at it, or higher level students who want to perfect their craft. Also, if you are somebody thinking about starting with this instrument, do not have any doubt! I base myself on the teachings received from my teachers during all my years of study, in which I have always been especially interested in the importance of the figure of the teacher for the healthy development of students. I adapt to the technical and musical needs of each student, even if we start from 0, without prior musical knowledge. We will work on every aspect of cello playing: Both hands' technique, posture, musical expression... Musical theory, solfège, harmony, etc. are also possible!

I am a professional classical pianist holding a bachelor and two Master's diploma (one in Gent conservatory "classical piano performance master" and another one in Spain "teaching master"). I am as well still studying another classical piano performance Master at the moment. I have long experience teaching in different music schools, professional academies and also privately. I have played piano concerts in different countries such Spain, England, Italy and Belgium, so i'm quite open minded in my lessons and i try to adapt my experience abroad to all kind of students. I teach mainly in English and Spanish. My dutch is in a B1 level but is not superfluent yet. My lessons are focus in the individual needs of the student, taking into account what each student has to improve. Enjoying music is the main goal in my teaching method. Hello everyone! My name is Anni, a Hungarian violinist and I am a recent academic graduate with a Master degree in Music. I did my Master studies in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and recently moved to Ghent. I give violin lessons to people of all ages from beginners until bachelor. Besides this basic music theory and initiation piano lessons too. I speak fluently Hungarian, English, A2 level German, and started to learn Dutch too. The lessons are built by personal wishes and developing their musical talents step by step.

My lessons are not only about technique of violin playing but also about learning how to listen and deal with music through a certain instrument. Lessons are adopted from the youngest ages (3+) to mature students. If you already are familiar with music theory I offer advices in composition but also music theory lessons as a preparation for music composition.

The lessons are adapted to the level of the students. From starters until bachelor, from kids to adults. The metholodogy will variate according to the purpouses of the students. The students age 3 can also start playing the violin or the viola.

Hello! I'm David, a spanish flutist. I really enjoy teaching and performing, and I have previous experience as a flute teacher back in Spain, so I would like to have some new students here in Ghent as well. I can also help you with other music stuff like theory, solfege and harmony if you want that. My music lessons are suitable for all level students, from begginers to advanced players, and we can work either in classical repertoire or in any other genre that you'd like (pop, irish, rock).
