The past twenty years have been revolutionary for music production. Nowadays you can record, produce and release your own music with your laptop and some simple peripherals. This is done with a music program called a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) in which you can edit sound. But as everyone has noticed who starts such a program: it's not easy! Hundreds of buttons and menus and a specific workflow ensure that you do not just get the sound you want. I use and teach two of the most widely used DAWs: Ableton Live and Studio One, which take us through all the steps from recording sound, using samples to editing and mixing. Due to my studies at the Rock Academy and the Musicology department of the UU and my more than ten years of experience as a professional guitarist, bassist and music producer, I have extensive knowledge of all aspects of the professional field.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. The idea is to have the basic notions to be able to work a string organic. You will study how to write for each string instrument: violin, viola, cello and double bass. Also how to work together, whether for a trio, quartet or thinking about a larger organization like an orchestra.

Mia is a Montenegrin violinist. She has traveled the world, starting with studies at the University of Music in Montenegro, to China, at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro, but her desire for discovery took her to other spheres. In the meantime, during her studies in Montenegro, she was invited to participate several times in the Young Euro Classic Orchestra, playing at the Berlin Konzerthaus, with renowned musicians like: Liana Issakadze, Heinrich Schiff, Anreas Reiner. In 2014, she met her teacher Anton Martynov who gave her many opportunities to develop as a violinist, in Paris in France and recently in Belgium. In 2023 she obtained another Master Didactique in Royal Conservatory in Mons, Belgium.

Presently I am the Professor of Photography at the American College of Greece, Deree College on their International Honours Program and Professor of Digital Image at Pierce College in the Fine Art Department. I specialise in teaching Art, Photography & Design as a career path or an elective option. Subjects covered : sketching, drawing, painting, art history, contemporary art and design. My goal is to inspire students theoretically and provide practice based homework when relevant. Classes and short courses are tailored to suit individual tuition.
