Tuition, music theory, accompaniment, chamber music

Translated by Google. Click to view original.
I am a concert pianist graduated in piano and pedagogy at the Zurich Conservatory. I am not only passionate about music but also about the teaching I have for vocation.
I teach at all levels and ages and all styles of music. I do not rely on a single method but on several methodological works. This allows me to offer students a wider variety of songs, especially for beginner levels, and to choose the most appropriate piece that will improve the student's progress.
I take into consideration the musical tastes of my students and arrange their favorite songs so that they are accessible to them. Music is and must remain a pleasure.
The solfège is only approached when necessary but it is possible to deepen it if the pupil wishes it.

About Me

I love to teach motivated students. For me it is not very important if they have already knowledge or developed skills on the piano. I appreciate the desire to evolve and grow, more than anything else. I am a friendly and patient teacher and I don't like to put my students under stress or pressure. As a teacher it is important to guide the student, to help him/her find an own way. My goal is to make the student independent.

I will encourage you to get clear goals, support you in finding a good practice rhythm. We will decide together what pieces you can approach, depending on your tastes and your skills. I will teach you music theory and you might need to prepare a homework for each lesson. My goal is making you to be able to learn and play a piece by yourself in the shortest time possible. I gladly teach beginners and advanced, students preparing for auditioning to conservatoire are welcome as well. I teach on a grand piano (Ixelles) or I can come to your place (we need to discuss it). I am a concert pianist, I've got my first diploma in Romania. I studied also in Austria (Salzburg) and in Switzerland (Zürich). I play in different chamber music groups, I accompany and I teach piano.

Clarinet and bass clarinet lessons in Brussels for everyone.
I am a professional clarinetist graduated with distinction at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels (Master Degree in Clarinet) and holding a Bachelor Diploma from the Music Conservatory of Valencia (Spain). Currently I am studying for a Master's Degree in Bass Clarinet, so we can combine both instruments in my lessons. I teach students of all ages and levels. In my lessons I help the students to find a good contact with the instrument and cultivate a positive relationship with music by integrating the development of aural skills, sense of rhythm and an optimal body use, enabling them to connect with their musical imagination. The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes. On top of playing, I can also offer lessons on harmony, form analysis and counterpoint that focus on understanding the structure of music. My lessons will already include many different aspects of the music being taught but there is the option of focusing the theoretical or the practical. i am looking forward to teaching you music!

Sara
Piano lessons given by concert pianist with four postgraduate diplomas
Being naturally very skilled in sight-reading of music scores, I've realized numerous times how helpful and enjoyable can be to posses that "gift". Now, after many years of experience in teaching at different levels and aspirations of students, I can surely say that, despite their different ambitions in playing piano, all of them were very keen in learning how to be better in reading completely new and unknown music to them. Currently, I'm developing an approach which could efficiently help one in understanding better the composition seen for the first time, through "scanning" analysis and use of logical patterns while getting to know basis of classical harmony. I'm a concert pianist with rich performing experience on worldwide stages, 1st prize winner of more then 30 international piano competitions in Europe and USA, holding Master degree, as well as two different Postgraduate degrees and two different Concert musician diplomas in special program for gifted concert artists at Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
