MatteoVOCAL TECHNIQUE FOR ALL TYPES OF MODERN SINGING, POP AND JAZZ SINGING LESSONS, VOICE, MUSIC THEORY, HARMONY.
I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and voice teacher with 20 years of music experience. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My courses are addressed on the development of bodily and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to musical repertoire. The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the cavities of resonance. From a repertoire perspective, the course will be modeled after the student's needs or interests, with an eye for the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I prefer pop and jazz, but I can work with any other modern genre. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theater). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I attended masterclasses relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song), Erika Biavati ( singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice search), Franco Fussi (one of the most important speech therapists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist). EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.

AlexandreSinging and performance classes, music and theater
Graduated in composition and Orchestration and in the art of theater and directing, having a Master in Musical Theater at the Sorbonne University Paris and a doctorate of advanced research in the art of singing and musical interpretation , I propose singing and interpretation lessons, based on the understanding and implementation of the Belt technique (breathing, voice placement, flexibility of diaphragmal pressure, diction) and a practical application of the theatrical method from Stanislavski for a thorough understanding and discovery of the theatrical interpretation of songs. The course consists of two or three parts: 1. A warm-up with various exercises, with the aim of widening the range, developing the breathing and understanding the mechanism of the phonator device. 2. Practical work on a song with eclectic choice. 3. A part of learning music theory and reading of score, if necessary. I work with you, putting a lot of emphasis on discovering or developing your voice at your own pace. I can also propose: 2. Music interpretation course (we work on the game and the construction of a character, the emotion of the song, the nuances) 3. Theater course (Actor's Studio method) - (we work on the body expression, the scenic presence, the connection between thought and action on stage), 4. Course of musical theory and solfege (the bases of the musical theory to be able to read and follow a partition), 5. Preparation course for castings and auditions (work on psychological preparation, stress management, choice of pieces and cutting, etc.). The price quoted is per course
JadeSinging or singing wellness sessions
Who is it? Because singing is intimately linked to our emotions, our sensations, our body and our soul, it becomes a real tool for personal development. And in the same way, there are many personal development tools that can help us express ourselves, sing better, and reach our true voice. Singing confronts us with ourselves, our feelings, our emotions and our abilities. Gently we can explore this complete tool that are our physical, emotional, spiritual and psychic bodies for a better well-being in life and in song. I offer you exercises to reconnect to your bodies in order to get to know yourself better but also to improve your self-confidence, your proprioception, your communication and acceptance as well as the transmission of emotions. Through meditative, energetic, self-hypnotic or vocal techniques (depending on your affinities and what your body calls for), I take you on a journey inside you, allowing welcome, circulation and liberation. Please note: A singing wellness session is not intended to cure an illness, but to provide a better quality of life. What tools? As mentioned above, I can use many personal development tools and vocal techniques. Here is a non-exhaustive list of what can be used during a session. Guided meditations, intuitive meditations, mindfulness, chakra chanting, card pulling, heart chanting, mantras, energy rebalancing, body liberation exercises, hypopressure exercises ... During the exercises, you are in control of what happens there. In no case do I impose anything on you, whether psychic, energetic or otherwise. I will never force you to do anything, you can stop an exercise whenever you want, and I will be careful to give you what you are able to receive. Sessions can be powerful and unearth buried things that can upset you. If so, it is because your bodies have allowed you to go and seek it. If this wasn't the time to work on this, they would have blocked it for you, by the time you were ready. Trust your healing ability. It is within your reach. For who ? For anyone in search of well-being, well-being, self-research. Whatever the age and the path of life. Whatever the physical or mental handicap. Whatever the level in singing. It is not necessary to know how to sing well, nor to have extra-sensory abilities to enjoy a wellness session. Let yourself be guided by your body and your intuition, and the rest will be done naturally. What rates? Before any session, it is necessary to identify the objectives. To do this, I ask for a preliminary interview, remotely, of about 1 hour. The sessions last 1 hour. They are done at my home in Nivelles. The number of sessions is not indicated, because we will do according to what you are able to receive, and what I can bring you. The frequency of the sessions either because we will follow your rhythm at every moment, and it will sometimes take a long enough time to digest what has been done, to put it into practice, or else it can go very quickly. For any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
