Hello! I’m Miguel, a 22 year-old musician/singer/songwriter, based in London. I’ve been studying music theory and professional violin since I was 4 years old. I started as an orchestra player and went to music school till I was 18, when I started writing and composing my own material. I’d love to share some of the knowledge I’ve gathered through the years with you guys, whether you’re a beginner or already have some experience in the area, I’d love to help in any way I can to increase your abilities and achieve your musical goals. I can travel to your location on specific days of the week, but also offer online sessions if needed

I am a professional violinist with over 15 years in the industry. Graduated from Guildhall School of Music & Drama - this year rated the UK’s best music conservatoire and in the top 10 in the world. I am a professional pianist who has studied in St Petersburg Conservatory (in Russia) and at the moment work as a pianist, organist and concertmaster in different locations and I am willing to share my knowledge with people who have a passion for music. I am mainly looking for students who want to pursue music/piano as a hobby and not a professional career due to timings. In a short period of time you will have mastered all the basic skills required to play any music of you choice and impress others.

I am a composer/pianist currently studying at Royal College of Music. I started studying music at quite young, but never found my passion in it until my late teenage years. As a teacher I am very flexible and can adapt to how you want to learn, I also take a creative approach to teaching piano so that my students develop their musicianship and composition skills while learning the piano. As a composer, I always bring elements of music theory and composition into my piano teaching, so that my students can develop their musicianship and creativity while improving their piano playing skills. My teaching philosophy is that the most important aspect of learning music is to find one’s interest and passion in it, and my goal as a teacher is to support my students and help them find their passion in music; However, I am familiar with the ABRSM examinations and have a Grade 8 certificate myself, and I always tailor my lessons to different students based on what they are looking for.

This is a class intended for anyone looking to improve their musicianship and keyboard skills. Whether you're interested in playing classical music or popular tunes this class is meant to give you the technical guidance and musical knowledge required to achieve your goals. The curriculum will be tailored to match the student's level and interests, with the possibility to focus more on performance, composition or theory. We will cover practice tips and students will get to pick their repertoire or bring forward pieces they'd like to work on.

You will see how all these incomprehensible symbols easily turn into a melody. 4) Develop a sense of rhythm: Practicing the piano develops a sense of rhythm - you can better feel the music. 5) Become happier and more musical: You will be able to express your feelings in a new way. And you will also hear music in a new way - you will be able to distinguish previously imperceptible details in familiar compositions. 6) You will be able to disassemble the compositions yourself: You will be able to disassemble the notes yourself and learn the composition you like. Personal description: I am a professional classical musician, with a master’s degree in flute playing and years of experience playing solo, chamber music and with orchestras internationally. I offer Flute and Music Theory lessons to children and adults of all ages, skill levels (grades 1 through 8 and beyond). Also I offer Piano lessons for beginners (grades 1 and 2). My experience runs mostly in early and classical music with an active performing life, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborate with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. I have years of experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in both Latin-America and Europe, therefore understanding different appreciation levels and needs. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. The theory of everything tends to be really scary and music theory can be too. I am very keen to make music theory easy for everyone. For some people there is only one way to tackle the unmentionable but I believe there are many different approaches and one of them will click with you. It is simply finding out what is best for each person. Once we find the key we can unlock the problems that have puzzled you for ages. Music theory needs to be more than a requirement, it needs to be the way to really appreciate the music you are playing. Certain aspects can also lead to additional practical skills such as improvisation which can be very useful as well as very enjoyable. Whether you want to understand a particular aspect of music theory or If you struggle with music theory in general, then this is the class for you - why not give it a try?
