My name is Luka. I have been working as a teacher for 12 years. Graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in piano. I teach children and students of secondary and higher musical institutions. I offer such directions as: classical music, jazz, pop and any others at your request. I teach you how to play melodies by ear and create your own accompaniment for your favorite melodies. Composing your own music has always been a very rewarding task. This has never been so true as the present day when you can hear what you compose instantly by using computers to generate and play back your own music. However, to ensure that your music sounds really great there are many principles to be considered. I have had a great interest in composing for over 40 years, composing in a wide variety of styles. Having been a music teacher in a comprehensive school for over 30 years, I have had a lot of very relevant experience in teaching composition to a wide range of different ages and abilities. The class will be personalized to your particular standard and chosen style of composition. If you are a complete novice and have not used computers to create music we can use a web-based programme or a free downloadable programme. On the other hand, if you are familiar with a particular programme that you have installed on your computer we can work through screen sharing and sound sharing to enhance your compositions using my experience. I will tailor-make the class to suit you.

As a music lover, I would love to share key teachings for piano and percussion, being very practical in everything related to Musical Language, and yes, it is like a language, in the end you improve by practicing the "language!" Of course, it is key for enjoying live instruments, in my case I have all kinds of percussion instruments (drums, flamenco cajon, rain stick...), a piano and two guitars, quite a group!

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. Note : - Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase. - As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy. - Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. As a music producer, I have been working with ABLETON for a long time, but I also have experience with software such as PRO-TOOLS, LOGIC, ... I look at your individual question and build on it. I have experience with Live Sets at once boxes as well as mixing, sound FX and Foley for film and TV. Since 2013 he is the founder and the artistic director of the Carloforte Music Festival since 2013, where he has been collaborating with fine soloists such as Anna Tifu, Paoletta Marrocu, Enkelejda Shkosa, Eric Silberger, Romeo Scaccia, Fabio Furia and Alice Lestang. In 2014, was invited by Lorin Maazel to participate as Associate Conductor at the Castleton Festival. Andrea has already performed in the major european concert halls including Berliner Philharmonie and Palais de Beaux Arts in Bruxelles. He conducted the Berliner Camerata, the Orchestre Regional de Cannes, the Berlin Sinfonietta, SymphoniaASSAI, the Ensemble Orchestral de Valencia, the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Cagliari, the Ruse Philharmonic, the Moldavian National Orchestra, the Jenaer Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Andrea graduated with top marks in piano and orchestral conducting from the Conservatorio P. da Palestrina in Cagliari, the Ecole Normale A. Cortot in Paris, and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Ronald Zollman, Jorma Panula, Dominique Rouits, Mikail Jurowsky, Nicolas Pasquet, Jorge Rotter, Giancarlo Andretta, Georg Christoph Sandmann, Wolfgang Doerner and George Pehlivanian. Prize winner in several international piano competitions, he was awarded a five years’ full scholarship offered by the Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, and he is supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist with 14 years of teaching experience and over 23 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved the highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist in orchestra (also as a harpist), and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio and look forward to meeting new students.
