I am a warm, supportive & experienced Maths tutor. I love helping students to grow in confidence, fulfill their potential and improve their grades at GCSE and A-level. I love my subject and strongly believe that everyone (including those who may not share that love!) has the capability to fully understand and enjoy it. I completed my Master Degree in Pure mathematics in 2017 and I have been doing private Maths tuition for nearly 10 years.

About Me

I try to understand the specific level of the student through an initial assessment and move on from there. My first goal is to help the student understand the basic concepts, develop his/her self confidence, and help him/her achieve the best results by focusing on his/her weakest points and solve as many problems as possible quickly and correctly.
My teaching is focused on making the fundamentals clear and strong. I fully understand, each child is different and accordingly I frame the teaching schedule and the plan. I go through past papers, exam techniques to help them understand what is expected of them.

- I collaborated with University teachers by managing and delivering lessons to first year students of a Bachelors degree in Maths (groups of up to 50)
- I won a university project scholarship which allowed me to collaborate with local secondary schools. I successfully planned and delivered afternoon lessons to students (groups of up to 12) with difficulties in Maths and Physics

The 11+ (or Kent Test as it is also known) can be a daunting prospect for both students and parents. However, as a trained teacher with years of experience in preparing students for the 11+, I am here to prove it can be really fun to study and there's no reason to feel overwhelmed.

I use a variety of methods to help students learn and prepare with fun games, tasks and both practical and mental activities. To enable me to help my students, I divise a plan for each individual dependent on their learning and understanding of the subject at hand, adjusting the learning and schedule as necessary.
