Private drum lessons will be available at 2019 for all levels.

In my opinion "Drums" is the most -funny-confusing instrument in the world. First it looks easy to play-to beat but when you try, you realize it's not only a muscle practice as well. You begin smiling and trying to do the easiest pattern. Then your journey begins.
I want to accompany you in this journey. I want to show you hhe places you should/shouldn't see; like correct muscle positions, methods, musical notes etc...
Essentials and fundamentals of this instrument are really critical. False leading/mentoring may cause serious problems in future. Thanks for your time.

Music - Guitar and musical knowledge: music theory, harmony and style
Guitar lessons: the mandate of guitar teacher is defined by the fact of being methodical, that is to say having an exact knowledge of the specifications: practice of playing with both hands, musical reading, knowledge of music theory , harmony... so many criteria which also participate in an encounter, that between the person who proposes and the one who wishes to emancipate themselves through an instrument specific to individual expression.

Saxophone lessons for beginner/intermediate/advanced level
Learning basic techniques, music theory, improvisation and ear development are part of the training. The saxophone course is personalized depending on whether it is a beginner or an advanced student. Beginner students will learn the solid basics, such as: good posture, good breathing, producing a beautiful sound, scale exercises, reading sheet music, basic rhythmic exercises. We will perform these exercises from different scores, which I can provide if necessary, and at the same time I also try to convey my own experiences. In general, I first show the exercise on my instrument and then let the student try to play it. We often play together. For advanced students, we will learn more complex pieces, more difficult harmonic and rhythmic exercises, thus expanding the limits of the instrument. Classes also include some music theory and history of music during class. I also consider it important to show how one can work effectively alone.

5 string banjo class, from Bluegrass to modern Jazz (finger picking)
The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Any requests for a personalised class is welcome. If you'd like inspiration or you want to listen to so fun music, go check out my website !

Have fun learning how to play the drums!
There are few things in life as fun and liberating as playing the drums! This instrument is at once basic and primitive, as well as highly complex - a wonderful exercise for body and mind! I teach drums in a fun, laid-back and casual way, always structuring my lessons around the students' needs and tastes. Please note: I specifically do not teach with notations or scores of any sort: My method of teaching is based on playing by ear, with emphasis on the music and the joy in playing it, rather than the theory. Notation is great and theory is important - I studied these myself; however, I have found that learning an instrument by ear is a far deeper, enjoyable and progressive way to get to know your instrument. I also place importance on technique and memorization, again tailoring these to the needs and wishes of the student. My methods have proven very successful and I'm confident your playing will improve quickly! I teach both children and adults, teenagers and grandparents :-) Maybe you already play, but would like some help improving your improvisational skills? Or perhaps you are a complete beginner and just want to find out, if this instrument is for you? Get in touch! Some background to my instruments: Piano: I initially taught myself the piano and took lessons later on. My main or favourite styles on the piano are: Blues & Boogie Woogie, Traditional Jazz, Rock n' Roll, Pop and Soul. I love many forms of Classical music as well. Guitar: I taught myself guitar as a kid and play both acoustic and electric. My favourite styles on the guitar are, on the one hand, heavy Rock, Metal and Punk, and on the other gentle Jazz, Blues and ballads :-) Drums: this became my main gigging instrument between '10 and '20. I mostly focus on funky grooves, hard Rock or Metal, Pop, Jazz, Swing; some rudiments, lots of grooves :-)

Individual drum lessons at Place du Vallon, Lausanne, in the studio.
I give drum lessons instead of Vallon 12, in my studio, equipped with 2 drums and recording equipment. I consider that learning can only be done while having fun, so I adapt almost all my lessons to the desires of my students, while keeping a course of action to follow, based on methods that have been developed. proven to be very effective over the years. I teach any style of music making sure the basics are solid. (Rock, Funk, Groove, Jazz, Samba, Latin, Metal, Fusion, ...) It is important for me that the student tells me about his desires, his tastes, and to know what the student has desire to learn. Of course, I can come up with tons of songs, but it is always more interesting for the student to bring me what they want to learn. My local is a recording studio. This means that I record and film sessions with students from time to time. It is very rewarding to see / hear yourself play, even very early in learning, and this service is an integral part of the lessons and is something quite rare in drum lessons in the region. I enjoy a familiar atmosphere, without pressure, to focus on the essentials in a relaxed way :-) About the teacher: Studied drums at the Sleack Kaven School in Lausanne. Drummer in many Swiss and international groups, specializing in extreme, technical and progressive metal, as well as electro-groove. Great experience of concerts all over Europe, as well as various recording studios, as well as recording in my personal studio. Drums teacher since 2016 at the ENSR in Lausanne. Drums teacher between 2018-2020 at GimmeMusic School, in Etoy. Private drums teacher since 2017.
