Lou is a really knowledgable and skilled guitar teacher - especially if you're looking to learn metal, but really for any genre. He has developed a program for memorizing the fretboard and learning theory that really works. I've been playing guitar casually for almost 15 years, and finally I'm beginning to actually understand what I'm playing and why, instead of just noodling randomly.
