About Me

Jef started playing guitar at the age of 9 at the music academy in Grimbergen. The first four years he studied acoustic guitar in classical music education. After that, Jef belonged to the first group that could follow the direction of light music, pop, rock and jazz. Completely captivated by the then "new way" of teaching, he bought an electric guitar and started playing in several bands. Jef graduated from the music school in both instrument and ensemble playing pop, rock and jazz. Later his interests expanded to guitar effects and sound recording. He followed an internship at Motormusic, a nice recording studio in Mechelen where Jef was allowed to finish productions with Raymond van het Groenewoud and the Brussels Philharmonic. Today, Jef is active in the broadcasting world and intrigued by the creative process of sound recordings. Playing guitar remains his first love that he likes to share with everyone on his guitar lessons.

Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.
