About Me

I offer two types of courses in two different fields: science on one side (maths and physics) and public speaking on the other.

Since the beginning of my studies at the Ecole Polytechnique (France), the transmission of knowledge has been a constant in my life. Far from being a genius myself, having known well the frustrations of not being able or knowing how to ask my questions, I strive to create an environment where my students feel safe to ask theirs, express their concerns and share their opinions without fear of being judged. Attentive to their individual needs, I adapt to their learning style to help them understand mathematical concepts efficiently and without stress.

As for the art of public speaking, it is a discovery that dates back to my student years and the various tournaments and competitions that were booming in Paris in the 2010s. I thus imitated the greatest for a long time before finding my voice, mixing in my taste for literature and philosophy. Since then, the lyrical flights, the hard-hitting truths, the deadpan humor, the chiseled formulas, in short, all the artifices and all the authenticity of public speaking, no longer hold any secrets for me. I learned to use them wisely, according to the context and expectations, always keeping in mind that one only leaves a strong impression on one's audience on condition that one imposes one's personality without trickery. 👋 Hello everyone!! My name is Evelyn, I am Peruvian and my native language is Spanish. Currently, I live in Geneva where I am pursuing my master's degree. Teaching languages is my passion, and I have extensive experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages and levels.

🎓 My teaching method is completely personalized to meet the needs and goals of each student. I use a variety of educational materials – books, videos, songs, games, and practical exercises – to make learning enjoyable and effective. The courses begin in English for clarity, then quickly transition to a conversational Spanish environment, allowing for rapid immersion and smoother learning. Each student has a personalized plan that they can review and adjust to focus on the topics most important to them. This plan is documented to track progress as well as the key points of each session.

🏠 Classes can be held in-person at your home, mine, or another agreed-upon location, including areas around France. Online classes are also available. For in-person lessons, I provide physical materials (or digital ones if preferred), and for online courses, all documents are shared via email or Google Classroom.

💬 In addition to teaching grammar and vocabulary, I focus on practical conversation to ensure that you feel comfortable and motivated to speak. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment to help you progress in Spanish.
