Guitar lessons are always useful for all levels of guitar playing. the course content will depend on the level of the student and is entirely open to any preferences in songs or techniques the student wishes to learn. My course is designed in such a way that it focuses on the student's creativity with the guitar and works towards fine tuning what will eventually become the student's original song or composition. I encourage my students to tap into their creativity, since in my experience, I have found that this is where the pleasure and beauty of music tends to surface, when there are the least amount of boundaries possible. All styles of music are welcome!

About Me

My name is Matt and I am a passionate musician and multi-instrumentalist, I have played both acoustic and electric guitar for 16 years in solo and in a band. I love music and want to share my passion with as many people as possible!

I am also a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I have been training and competing for 12 years and I want to share my passion with as many people as possible, since I truly believe in the value of the numerous benefits Brazilian jiu-jitsu has to offer, both on and off the mats for self-defense and self-improvement.

Education

I graduated in 2014 with a B.A. in Media and Communications and a Certificate in Studio and Commercial Photography from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu for self-defense and self-improvement

I am a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I have been training and competing for 13 years and I want to share my passion with as many people as possible, since I truly believe in the value of the numerous benefits Brazilian jiu-jitsu has to offer, both on and off the mats for self-defense and self-improvement.

The focus of the class will depend on the skill level and experience of the student and what the student wishes to develop.

The class is open to men, women and children and will typically involve a warm-up/stretching, drills/technique and sparring.

I offer to train you in the comfort of your own home, if you have the space, or in an outdoor location such as a park near your location. I bring my personal training mats to your location.

Manuel

We work the techniques, rhythmic styles and harmony typical of flamenco.
Once the pupil has acquired a certain mastery of the instrument, he can learn to accompany song and dance in order to complete his learning; let's say that the accompaniment of song and dance is what will allow the student to live a real experience of flamenco and thus feed on the ingredients necessary to learn and understand all the richness and complexity of this art.
The accompaniment of the song:
At first, we will study rhythmic formulas on precise chords, then in a second time, we will play these formulas with the singer (recorded on audio tracks). In order to make learning more lively, the student will be able to accompany the teacher who will sing certain styles and will be able to participate in monthly workshops to accompany song and dance with a singer, a dancer and other students.
The student can also film during the lesson to be able to work at home more efficiently.
Finally, distance learning courses are possible, via Whatsapp or Skype.
