Personalised science tutoring in English for primary and secondary students, from building strong foundations to Cambridge IGCSE, O-Level, AS & A-Level exam preparation.
I am a registered Pharmacist and certified Public Health professional speclisised in Environmental Health with an established international career in health and research. Alongside my professional work, I have been tutoring science since 2013 and currently work with regular students throughout the academic year.
I also have first-hand experience with the Cambridge international education system, both as a student and as a teacher. I completed my secondary education within the Cambridge system and later taught science at the British School in Koh Samui, Thailand, following the Cambridge curriculum.
I support students across Primary and Lower Secondary science, Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, O-Level, AS Level, A-Level and IB, depending on subject and level.
• For primary and lower-secondary students, I focus on making science clear, interesting and manageable. I help students understand what they are learning at school, strengthen scientific vocabulary and problem-solving skills, • and build strong foundations for later study.
• For secondary and examination-level students, I provide support in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and
General Science, including challenging topics, school assessments, revision, past-paper practice, structured scientific answers and exam technique.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to the student's age, level, curriculum, learning style and individual goals. I identify gaps in understanding and break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps rather than relying on memorisation.
My teaching style is patient, structured and encouraging. My goal is to keep students challenged, but never overwhelmed, and to help them become increasingly confident and independent learners.
My professional background in Pharmacy, Public Health and scientific research also allows me to bring practical, real-world examples into lessons and make scientific concepts more relevant and memorable.
