Hi!
I'm a professional guitarist, composer, mathematician and educator from Spain who is currently studying a Master in jazz Performance at Jazz Campus (inside the FHNW university).
Teaching is one of my passions and I would love to share my musical experiences and tips so you can start sounding amazing.
My experience as a musician and teacher has brought me to different places all over Spain as well as to different countries such as Nepal, Croatia and now Switzerland.

Nelle mie lezioni di chitarra imparerai le nozioni base per poter suonare questo strumento. Potrai imparare a suonare brani e riff della tradizione Rock e Pop, o canzoni Jazz come gli Standards o brani più moderni. Imparerai scale e arpeggi che ti saranno di fondamentale importanza per approcciarti al concetto di improvvisazione. Ebbene si, potrai imparare ad improvvisare e scrivere della tua musica!
Per i più "avanzati" si andrà più a fondo in argomenti, come la tecnica sullo strumento piuttosto che l'improvvisazione, lo sviluppo del senso melodico e ritmico o composizioni originali. I am a musician and composer specializing in guitar and Jazz music, with experience in Rock and Pop, and in other musical genres. In my guitar lessons you will learn the basics of playing this instrument. You will learn to play traditional Rock and Pop songs and riffs, or Jazz songs as Standard or modern songs. You will learn scales and arpeggios that will be absolutely important for you to get closer to the concept of improvisation. Yes, you will learn how to improvise and write your own music!
For the more "advanced" we will go deeper into topics, such as the technique of the instrument, improvisation, the development of the melodic and rhythmic sense or your original compositions. Together we will learn songs and delve into music theory to put it in a practical way. I will share with you my approach for writing music and developing creativity.
But most of all, regardless of your level, you will have fun!

For the last 15 years I have been teaching private lessons and in music schools.

My name is Sebastián, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel.

Since I was 18 years old I am working as a professional musician. I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation, in “Orquesta Juvenil del Sur,” an orchestra for underprivileged children, as a trumpet teacher at St Andrew's Scots School and as a private teacher.

Apart from my teaching experience I was selected to participate in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honor of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious MIT University (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". I am also working as a producer recording in my home studio.
