I specialize in teaching conversational English for the purposes of travel, business, and pleasure. I also have experience with college students studying for their BAC English exams. I am TEFL qualified with experience working with French clients. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere with a natural exchange of conversation, focusing on the client's personal interests to help motivation and creative learning. I specialize in understanding the particular needs of each client and discovering their unique approach to learning. I do private in-person lesson, by telephone or via Zoom or skype.

About Me
Many of my students come to me because they wish to improve their English speaking skills but have had negative experiences learning English in the classroom. My focus is less on grammar and more on fluency and exploration of the language. I teach English not as a subject but as a tool for the student to use in his or her life in a way that is most relevant to them. I also have experience of helping French college students prepare for their English BAC.
Education
I was educated in the United Kingdom taking English, History and Psychology A levels at college. I have a Masters in Buddhist Studies from the University of Wales.
Experience / Qualifications
I began to teach English to refugee communities in India. Since I moved to France in 2016, I have been teaching locally. I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate from tefl.org
