This is the basic version of my Chinese lessons which is suited for motivated learners who are committed to spending 2-4 high quality hours per week for self study outside of the class. See my profile for the advanced version where I offer even more additional materials and more extra feedback for a more immersive learning experience. The advanced version is suited for people who want to progress faster with guidance.
The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook. After the lesson you will receive exercises and extra audiovisual materials for the theme covered during lesson through Google Classroom (free). It is encouraged to leave questions about the language on Google classroom as well.
It is possible to book 1,5 or 10 lessons per time. Following reservation is ensured when discussed and booked two weeks ahead of time. Meeting time is confirmed minimum 5-7 days in advance and cancellation is free until 3 days before.

I have developed my unique curriculums and teaching methods for Chinese language lovers ranging from absolute beginners to highly advanced with more than 7 years of teaching experience here in Amsterdam. Unlike most institutions, I work no only with standard textbooks but also with thoughtfully curated contemporary Chinese content and Many More Surprises Along the Way. ;-)

I am 28 and hold a research master degree in Media Studies from the University of Amsterdam and I am specialized in critical analysis, cultural sociology and environmental philosophy. Previously i have worked in artistic projects funded by dutch goverment and other regional funds and presented my artistic research at various conferences. At the moment I am looking to expand my life experience by taking up a corporate job temporarily.

The past few years I have been involved in artistic projects supported by prestigious funding and have presented my own artistic research at multiple international conferences. In my spare time I like to share Chinese culture with interesting and smart people. It is always rewarding to see people learning a completely other-worldly language with fantastic results. Language learning is absolutely more than a hobby and I look forward to embarking on this journey with you!
I love philosophy, literature and art but I am also very into dancing as a sort of sport and often go on impulsive walks around the cities.
