Singing is good for the soul and I believe that everyone and anyone can learn to sing! I’ve been a professional classical singer for 15 years now, touring all over the world with UK-based ensembles and singing in some of the most incredible concert halls. I studied music at Oxford University and did a postgraduate in singing at Trinity Laban and am passionate about music education. I’ve taught all ages from 3-year-olds to 70-year-olds in workshops and on a one-to-one basis. I offer lessons focussing on vocal health and confidence, improving range, learning new repertoire or improving current repertoire, working towards exams and performances, choral singing techniques, or just singing for simple enjoyment! My approach is holistic as I believe the voice is an extension of our bodies and personalities. I also teach recorder, piano, and general musicianship to all ages.

With extensive experience as a busker, singer-songwriter and function singer as well as having sung with choirs such as London Contemporary Voices, ACM Gospel Choir, Some Voices, TGGG, Singology etc, my main singing styles are pop, soul, gospel and reggae. My lessons are tailored to each student’s age, experience, and goals. Children (7–12 years old) For younger students, lessons focus on building confidence while making learning fun. We begin with simple vocal warm-ups and ear training to develop pitch and intonation, then move on to singing their favourite songs, encouraging good vocal habits in an enjoyable way. Teenagers (12-17 years old) With teenage students, we start with more structured vocal warm-ups and exercises. As we discover their natural voice, we work on developing a comfortable vocal range, improving technique, and applying these skills through songs that suit their voice and interests. Adults and seniors (18+) For adult students, lessons are usually divided into two parts. We begin with vocal technique, focusing on breathing, diaphragm support, scales, arpeggios, and intonation. We then apply these techniques through singing, helping you develop confidence, control, and healthy vocal habits. I will give you repertoire to study or we will study the pieces you have to prepare. The final goal will be to sing on a musical accompaniment. Every student learns at a different pace. Some may spend more time building a solid technical foundation before moving on to more challenging repertoire, and that’s perfectly fine. My priority is to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their vocal journey. I teach children, teenagers, and adults and seniors from complete beginners to advanced singers. My classical training provides a strong technical foundation that can be applied to any musical style, whether you enjoy pop, musical theatre, jazz, rock, or classical singing. Passionate about the performing arts, I have worked in theatre, dance and music. I began my singing career with musical theatre and then opera. I teach alongside my stage activities because it is a joy to share the love of singing, a discipline that is rich physically, artistically and mentally. Every voice is unique, and it's important to adapt to each student's personality, desires, and background. I enjoy exploring and researching with my students to help them bring out and develop their voices to the fullest extent of their abilities. My courses are based on 3 main principles: - Vocal technique: developing a healthy and solid technique, giving confidence and freedom while singing. Breathing, muscle support, stretching and vocal range homogeneity, agility... - Musicality: ear training, sense of rhythm, phrasing, exploration of vocal nuances and colors - Interpretation: Text work, projection, repertoire discovery, song construction I divide the sessions into half an hour of technical exercises adapted to the level and needs, then another half hour devoted to learning a piece.
