⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👨‍🎓 With 5 years of experience in distance and in-person teaching, I am a mathematics teacher specializing in tutoring and private lessons. I also teach physics, chemistry, and science subjects in general. I hold a Master's degree in Operations Research (Applied Mathematics) and I have been teaching private lessons for over 5 years, mainly mathematics for middle and high school levels. ✏ I have taught students from different schools, whether public, private, following the French program (mission), Belgian, Swiss, Spanish (students from French-speaking or English-speaking Spanish schools) or American. In summary, all French or English programs. ✏ I support students from A to Z in all stages of their learning, using a simple, new generation and effective methodology: explanation of lessons, summary of lessons, application and deepening exercises, etc. ✏ I also prepare students for exams and competitions. ✏ I also support students with their homework (homework help). ✏ All my students have made extraordinary progress and achieved their goals, with grades of 16, 17, 18 or 19 out of 20. Sessions usually take place as follows: 1️⃣ The first sessions are mainly intended to assess the level of the student in order to determine the shortcomings noted. 2️⃣ Then we make a plan to fill those gaps: number of hours of work required, parts of the lessons to focus on, lots of training and development exercises, etc. 3️⃣ We make sure to stay up to date with the student's class teacher to track their progress and align our work with what is being taught in class. 4️⃣ Then I provide exams similar to what may be offered in class. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a monthly report to keep parents informed of their child's level throughout the course. I also adapt my methodology according to the needs of each student, which means that everyone has a personalized working method adapted to their needs! I also offer crash courses for those preparing for the start of the school year, so that they start the year well prepared 💪 and with a head start on the program.🧠 💭 If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me ;)

Private Lessons, Tutoring - Mathematics and ScienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private Lessons, Tutoring - Mathematics and ScienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Dear Parents, You have come here seeking help for your child, and you have made the right decision. Public schools play a crucial role in our education, but sometimes they lack the necessary resources to cater to each student individually. I, too, experienced a challenging academic journey for this very reason. My struggles were not greater than those of others, but the rigid schedule limited my ability to fully flourish. Fortunately, with the support of my parents, I had the opportunity to attend a private school and fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a chemist. I am now a chemist who holds a degree from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), and on April 11, 2019, I successfully defended a doctoral thesis in experimental physics at the University of Geneva (UNIGE). However, all this knowledge is only valuable if it can be effectively communicated. As you know, communication is an essential aspect of teaching. There are teachers who can be uninteresting, and then there are others whose passion is contagious. I have often observed that teachers who manage to ignite their students' interest take the time to provide context for what they teach. This approach often sparks curiosity in students, leading them to engage willingly. Your child's studies are a serious matter, you are right to look for solutions. Best regards, Julien

Scientific branches with ease and for all levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Scientific branches with ease and for all levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I am a student in the last year of a Bachelor in life science at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and I am offering to help understand the fascinating world of science! The scientific branches and particularly mathematics and physics can represent a challenge during the school learning of the pupil. Often, classical teaching methods may not be suitable for some students who, therefore, risk developing deficiencies in these branches, accompanied by demotivation and fears regarding these subjects. For me, this is regrettable and from my experience, I am convinced that an approach centered on the student and his specific needs allows to improve this perception and to increase the self-confidence of my students. In my courses, I propose to help pupils and students who do not feel comfortable or wish to improve themselves with these themes through three points of approach: - The explanation of the subject by restating the theory and by concentrating on the comprehension thanks to explanations, numerous examples as well as a simplification of the concepts difficult to comprehend. - Exercise assistance, which teaches methods of resolution that can allow students to feel more comfortable in front of statements and to increase their speed in dealing with specific cases. There is rarely only one method to understand and solve the exercises, if some are more effective than others, for me, it is especially important to find the one that will best suit the student's affinities. - Finally, I suggest going back to the basics necessary for understanding the subjects discussed in class. Sometimes, some students have gaps at this level, which hinders the learning of current subjects. By paying particular attention to this point, the support is adapted in the long term so that the pupil can then apprehend the new subjects without experiencing comprehension problems due to basic knowledge not acquired or insufficiently mastered. My level also allows me to help first-year students and future students wishing to integrate a course containing basic sciences such as those of EPFL. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, I would answer you with great pleasure!

Maths, Physics and other sciences - For CO, Maturity and Adults (Geneva and Lausanne)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Born in Barcelona and a resident of Geneva since 2019, I worked for five years as a biology researcher at the University of Geneva and have over ten years of experience as a private tutor in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology for secondary school students (grades 7-9) and adults. My students have consistently achieved excellent results. I offer in-home tutoring for students preparing for the French Baccalaureate exam (maturité) in the following subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. The goal of my lessons is to provide solid academic support and effective preparation for the scientific Baccalaureate for students experiencing difficulties. I travel directly to the student's home for more personalized instruction and remain available to answer their questions promptly via text or email, even outside of class time. I tailor my lessons to each student's specific needs. My methodology focuses on analyzing difficulties and finding appropriate solutions. I prepare theoretical or practical explanations as needed and select the most relevant exercises to deepen understanding of the academic content. I help students reason and develop logical problem-solving methods, avoiding reliance on automatic responses or rote memorization. The pace of work is, of course, adapted to each student's needs and abilities to ensure optimal learning.

*****German text below***** About myself: My name is Manuele and I am 30 years old. I'm good-humoured, creative person and if my lab is not blowing up into my face, I'm also very calm and hearty. Currently, I am working as a PhD in an interdisciplinary field of chemistry and physics. I have a Masters degree in chemistry as well as a Bachelors with a major in chemistry and a minor in physics. In the past years, I had the privilege to acquire fundamental knowledge in chemistry, physics and mathematics at a top academic institution. For my achievements, I was honored three times by the faculty of Chemistry with the Werner price and for my dissertation I was awarded the semester price. My Philosophy: My objective is to provide individual approaches to convert weaknesses into strengths and to face challenges with the certainty of success. In the past four years, I have been able to acquire an extensive repertoire of experience in this area. I now try to pass this experience on to my students in the best possible way My personal goal is that students no longer worry after an exam about whether the exam was passed or not, but that they are annoyed if the best possible grade was not achieved. In order to guarantee improved results, I only accept 2 students within the same time period (in English and/or German). I'm looking forward to meeting you! Mouad is a fantastic teacher. He has a very professional approach to what he is doing. He knows how to work with younger students. He can quickly position student's knowledge and has the flexibility to follow the required curriculum. He also knows how to build the confidence of the student himself what is extremely important in case of students who had bad experience with the subject in the past. Mouad communicates fluently in French and English. He is always on time and well prepared for classes. He also gives feedback after the lessons. We will definately continue classes with him. My son is making good progress in Mathematics while working with Mouad.

Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.

Giuliano has very good in-depth knowledge of Python concepts, and is pleasure to have a course with. Recommended!
