I'm William Guijarro, a double bass player and music teacher in Cuenca, Ecuador. I offer online lessons in Spanish for adults who want to learn double bass, improve their music reading skills, or understand music theory applied to practice. I taught at Cedemúsica (2010–2018) and was a double bass professor at the Anton Bruckner Conservatory (2014–2018). My experience includes orchestral work with OCCA in Ambato (2018–2026) and training in Music Education at PUCE (2019–2022). We adapt the lessons to your level and goals. We work on rhythm, sight-reading, intonation, and expression through exercises and repertoire. For double bass, we can address posture, bowing, and coordination. Each session ends with clear practice priorities. I can also understand your notation using Finale and MusicXML.

For me, the most important is to help my students reach their goals, supporting them in any kind of situation. I’m happy to start with a beginner on their musical journey, prepare an advanced player for a music university audition or entrance exam, or a casual player who just wants to learn music and have fun. I always try to personalize my lessons and focus on the aims of my students. My main field is Jazz however I'm able to teach other genres like pop, latin, classical and funk. In my teaching method the music theory, scales, rhythm, harmony, improvisation, a defined technique on the instrument and several practising methods are all very important in order to improve. I’m able to teach Double Bass, Bass Guitar and Music Theory.

My name is Lawrence. I'm currently offering limited teaching slots to new online and face-to-face students from my studio in Hackney Wick and home studio in Leyton. As a tutor, I aim to build a solid technique and theoretical understanding relevant to students’ interests. This allows the student a foundation of tools to further their creative and technical studies and harness their own sound and voice through music. Hi, I'm a french bassist based in London. I'm looking to give courses to people who want to learn bass basics or more advanced stuff, as much as technical skills (like slap) to harmony and theory. Also can give Upright Bass courses. I can learn several music styles, from jazz standards to pop/rock through hip hop and funk for all levels. I can also play bass synth and a little keyboard and guitar. I learned music at the Conservatory of Paris in France, starting cello at 5 in classical music, then started bass and upright bass at the jazz department.
