Basile , bassiste et contrebassiste, commence la basse électrique en 2001 à l’âge de 7 ans à l’IEFAR (Institut Européen de Formation aux Arts Rythmiques) de Montpellier. Il y prend des cours jusqu'à l’âge de 13 ans puis continue avec un professeur particulier jusqu’à ses 16 ans. En 2012, il suit des ateliers jazz avec le pianiste Pierre Coulon-Cerisier et continue l’apprentissage de la basse ponctuellement avec le bassiste Alfred Vilayleck. C’est en 2013 qu’il intègre le département jazz de l’ENM de Villeurbanne (Lyon) où il apprend la contrebasse, et suit des cours avec des musiciens tel que Pierre Baldy-Moulinier, Thierry Beaucoup, Gilbert Dojat. Durant ses années à Lyon, Basile multiplie les expériences de scène et de clubs dans la région Auvergne Rhône Alpes, en France mais également à l’étranger (Espagne, Îles Canaries, Belgique, Tunisie, Emirats Arabes Unis, Italie, Slovaquie, Suède, Danemark, Allemagne, Maroc…) Après 3 ans passé à Barcelone, il continue aujourd'hui sa carrière de musicien à Bruxelles ou il se produit dans les différents clubs de la ville.
Basile , double bass player and bass guitarist, began playing the electric bass in 2001 at the age of 7 at the IEFAR (Institut Européen de Formation aux Arts Rythmiques) in Montpellier. There, he followed lessons until the age of 13 and then pursued his training with a private instructor until he was 16 years old. In 2012, he followed jazz workshops with the pianist Pierre Coulon-Cerisier and continued to learn and practice the bass with Alfred Vilayleck. After graduating in 2013, he registered in the jazz department of the ENM of Villeurbanne (Lyon) where he began learning the double bass, and followed lessons with musicians such as Pierre Baldy-Moulinier, Thierry Beaucoup and Gilbert Dojat. During the next 4 years in Lyon, Basile makes repeated appearances on stage and in clubs of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes region and all France but also at international (Spain, Belgium, Italia, Tunisia, UAE, Sweden, Germany, Maroco...). , and developping projets such as a duo with canarian guitar player Octavio Hernández, various concerts with italian guitar player Mino Lanzieri, singer Lena Chamamyan, but also leading his own project, the Baz Trio with tunisian pianist Wajdi Riahi and french drummer Oscar Georges. After living 3 years in Barcelona, he continues his musical carrier in Brussels where he plays in different places and jazz clubs of the city, without stopping moving around Europe.

Education
étude de la basse électrique pendant 11 ans, puis la contrebasse à Lyon dans le cadre des études de Jazz de l'ENM de Villeurbanne, puis très vite commence à jouer dans le milieu professionel et se forme de cette manière.
Expérience / Qualifications
4 ans d'études de la contrebasse jazz dans un conservatoire régional. Pas mal de cours donnés par la suite puis énormément de concerts donné en France et à l'étranger ces dernières années.
