Mathematics is the basis of Belgian education. Whether we like it or not, we will always come into contact with them, whether at school or outside. I help children ages 8 to 16 find where their gaps are and fill them. Latin is an extinct language from which Romance languages come from. It was a sign of prestige to have a good command of Latin in the past, and the language is still praised today.
However, many students struggle with Latin. That's why I tutor children; so that they continue to struggle and they can succeed with the small number of Latinists. Being tutored by a student is different for the child than from a teacher, and this can be helpful. I understand where and why they struggle, because I was in their feet several years ago.
How I approach my tutoring depends on the topic and your child's struggles. That is why the time is not specific: if your child has not mastered the material after one hour, we can stay longer; or conversely, if he understands it quickly, then we can end the tutoring faster. We will review the exercises we have seen and the preliminary quizzes. I will also provide a clear summary of the course material.
