I am a Dutch-American citizen currently living in Amsterdam. Born in the Netherlands, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia when I was 8 years old and lived there until I moved back to Holland 2 years ago.

Knowing how important English is for the modern-day world, I strive to teach my students my language in a clear and fun way. I am available to all class levels. I want to help people become familiar with the Dutch language. Being born in the Netherlands, I moved to the United States at 8 but learned Dutch at an after school program and from my parents. Now that I am back in the Netherlands, I want to help people who want to learn the Dutch language. Whether you want to learn Dutch for personal reasons or for the "inburgeringsexamen," I want to help by offering relaxed and conversation-based classes at your own pace.

Originally from Austria, my name is Sarah and I'm 25 years old. I've got a bachelors in Education with a focus on German as a Foreign-/Second Langauge & a masters in Refugee Integration. I'm currently working as a communications officer for the SDG House of the city of The Hague BUT I miss teaching a lot.
I have been tutoring for over 8 years working with different age groups on the following subjects: German, German as a Foreign-/Second Language, English & French.

As a student who graduated from the European School, I have gained a lot of knowledge in different languages. Having learnt Greek, German, English, French, and even a bit of Italian, I have become familiar with the ways and mechanisms of teaching a language. I have always been passionate about writing and believe a lot in the importance of writing abilities to help individuals mentally, and the same counts for speaking and reading. Language is a form of self-expression that is of utmost importance to life, and I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn these skills.

Additionally, as a political science student at the University of Amsterdam, I offer help with history and sociology lessons, having studied both these subjects with a lot of passion for many years.

I am a very patient person and approach these lessons with excitement and a lot of joy, but most importantly, with passion. Seeing people grow in their skills is very important to me, especially seeing how happy they are with themselves.
