In this lesson you will learning the basic vocabulary that can improve how you communicate with recruiters. You will learn words that are found on job adverts, how to structure inquiries and words to use in your application emails, cover letters, motivational letters and expression of interest documents. This class prepares students for choosing and applying for a job. I also equip students on basic tips on where to look for jobs, how to approach recruiters and answer basic queries about job applications.

Studies have also shown that when learners participate in physical activity, they are more likely to retain information given and have a better attitude to studying. I have done a lot of cover work teaching in various high schools around the Preston area. I specialise in special educational needs and physical education. However, I have covered many other classes such as maths, english and science. I am able to adapt lessons to ensure they are children centered and use the necessary guidance books for children to learn from to gain the necessary qualification (e.g if they are wanting to sit their GCSEs). I studied Zoology at Swansea University and went on to work in an animal movement lab, teaching tagging technologies to Masters and PhD students. My next role was based in Singapore where I was a field biology teacher taking students aged 8 - 18 around different ecosystems teaching them environmental surveying techniques and ways to save our planet. When I returned to the UK I worked in an after school and holiday children's club encouraging the involvement of students in a number of activities. I then worked for a wildlife charity in Communications, Engagement and Training, boosting their online presence and reaching their ideology out to different demographics. My most recent role was as an Environmentalist and Duke of Edinburgh lead at a private school in Buckinghamshire.
