Recently graduated from a State Diploma of flute teacher at CEFEDEM in Normandy (France), I received a very complete and exciting training on pedagogy and on the profession of music teacher. Currently, I am a Master's student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels after having obtained a license as an interpreter at the Conservatory of Versailles.

I have been teaching for years (in private lessons, in music school, as a replacement in conservatories...) and pedagogy has always been a profession of passion for me.
During my lessons, I listen to everyone's requests, and it is with joy that I offer a repertoire and scores in accordance with the desires and needs (classical music, traditional music, early music, current, jazz...).
I base my lessons on an approach to posture and breathing to allow flautists (beginners and advanced alike) to fully develop in their practice. During the lessons, I also like to accompany the student on the flute to allow him to make chamber music and to learn to listen and play with other musicians.

About Me
I studied transverse flute at the conservatory of Montpellier, in the south of France. Then, I went to the conservatory of Versailles where I obtained a license (Bachelor).
During my years of study, I had the chance to meet incredible teachers who brought me a lot and who gave me this desire to transmit in turn the pleasure of playing music. That's why I went to CEFEDEM in Normandy where I trained to become a qualified flute teacher.
During my musical career, I had the chance to open up to many repertoires, such as early music at the Versailles Conservatory where I learned to play the traverso (baroque flute), or even traditional music. Irish and jazz at the CEFEDEM in Normandy. I would like to transmit this transversality to my students by offering them a varied repertoire while adapting to their desires.
Currently, I am a master's student at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels to improve my skills. It is important for me to continue to train myself because I consider my artistic practice and my pedagogical practice as closely linked and nourishing each other.

The shinobue is a flute that is used in street music but also in more sophisticated artistic performances. Japanese music has developed its own conception of beauty. Learning this music is a way to enter Japanese culture!

Traditionally, Japanese music is learned orally through shoga (a song using onomatopoeia). During the course, you also experience this method and will learn several types of music.

Course:
From 1 to 3 lessons per month / 1 lesson only and possible too
*I help you find and buy the instrument

Some testimonies
A few years ago, I was looking for a shinobue teacher on the Internet because I wanted to join the dance and music group of the Kagura Autumn Festival (in Japan)
I found Nozomi Kanda's page and videos. I was pleasantly surprised that she played Western classical music, contemporary music and also Japanese music. With Nozomi's knowledge of Western and Japanese music culture, it is always very inspiring for me to learn from her. Eventually, I might become a member of the Kagura band and I hope to be able to play contemporary music too in the near future. By studying shinobue, I can deepen my knowledge, insight and experience of traditional Japanese crafts and arts. Nozomi, thank you very much. (Japanese paper craftsman / Shikoku - Japan / Online course)
---
I started the shinobue class 9 months ago. After several lessons, I mastered the basic techniques under Nozomi's patient teaching. I started playing several scores with the other students. Together we participated in an end of year show. I am very happy to have the opportunity to share the delicate sound of shinobue with others. In the future, I would like to always be able to take my flute on vacation. I'm going to become a nomadic flautist! :) (Employee / Paris - France)

I am a professional flutist with over 5 years of experience in teaching. I have worked with people aged 5 to 75 and taught in five different languages: English, German, Ukrainian, Polish, and French. I hold a pedagogical qualification from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where I obtained a Master's degree with distinction in flute performance. Recently, I graduated from the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, where I earned a specialized Master's degree in flute.

With my help, my students have become first prize winners in competitions like the renowned "Jugend musiziert" in Germany. They have also prepared for playing in youth orchestras such as Das Bayerische Landesjugendorchester or worked on repertoire for different kinds of concerts. As a teacher, I am very flexible and always strive to adapt to the needs of my students. I am passionate about the flute and music in general, and I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.
