In this course, we will see the history of this approach and how it has evolved over time, master this culture by understanding lean thinking, then master the various tools of lean management and manufacturing which aim to reach the 5 zeros: delay, scrap, accident, stock and paper.

Lean as an approach which aims to achieve 5 zeros, including zero defects, and which uses the principle of eliminating sources of waste, including non-quality as a major source, it is associated to the six sigma method which is a quality management method, which tends to identify the extent of manufacturing around the required tolerance interval, called 6 sigma.
In this course, we will see the beginning of six sigma, which is the static mastery of MSP processes by learning the control charts and the notion of machine capability and process capability, then we will see the method put in place to achieve the objective of quality while respecting the principle of continuous improvement, this is the DMAIC.
We will also see a procedure for deploying this generic method which can be applied to any company.
