It is a way of being surrounded by the language. I always insist a lot on the accent, and this helps. I have students with a perfect accent. We focused the lessons on learning communication, rather than studying the language. We add the things we practice to a document, and he sends it at the end of the class. Even though I started from zero, he's been quite patient and kind. And by now, zero-stress with grammar/theory.
