Spanish language courses (grammar, conversation, literature)
From 23.2 £ /h
All my courses are in Spanish. At the beginning and before I start my lessons. I test my students to assess their level and I explain my methodology. Normally, the first five minutes are spent talking. In Spanish the student talks about his day or what he did during the week. Then and through a written, audio or audiovisual document, he reads aloud. An oral and written comprehension allows to fix some lexical and grammatical concepts, obviously the texts, the audio material and the homework are sent in advance. Each month and through an oral and written exam, I assess my students in order to correct certain linguistic aspects.
I teach at all levels. For those who want to go further and those who simply want to learn the everyday language and understand what Spanish people say in the street, at home or in bars or football stadiums.

About Me
Hi. My name is Khalifa. I am Spanish of Tunisian origin. It was at the UCM Universidad Complutense in Madrid, where I learned the Spanish language. I first took three precious 450-hour courses to obtain the advanced level C. Then I enrolled in the same university and obtained a diploma in Arabic studies with honors. During my career, I had a one-year scholarship at the Sorbonne IV. The diploma was then 5 years and 324 credits.
If there is something I like. It would undoubtedly be language and reading. I was amazed every time I saw a book written in an unknown language. I was fortunate to be born in Tunisia a country where many languages coexist and study primary and part of secondary in French and Arabic. Then and from a young age, I immigrated to Spain. It was a dramatic change in my life. A stroke of luck that opened my eyes to another different and fascinating culture. A very rich culture halfway between east and west. I also knew the Spanish closely. A modern and traditional people at the same time. Corrida, Easter and a passion for football, among other customs, are an example.
From a young age, I knew I just wanted to teach languages. I started my travels by teaching my nephews and children of my neighbors. In Spain, I continued to teach and introduce Spanish little by little. At first, I did translations and interpretations, then I gave tutoring and grammar lessons to elementary students. At the end of my university career, I made the jump and started working teaching foreign students who came to study Spanish at the UCM Universidad Complutense in Madrid. It was in 2012 that I decided to design my own methodology. I have observed during my experience that traditional methods are not intended for students of the 21st century because they divide learning into independent subjects: Courses in grammar, conversation, phonetics, syntax, semantic analysis. .. I said to myself: if the language is one and the children when they learn it, they do it first by imitating their parents then acquire independence, why I do not continue the same model with my pupils? So I decided to create my own method based on teaching all the linguistic elements at the same time. Students should speak more than I do. They have to overcome their fear and make mistakes. I'm here to correct you. I teach at all levels. For those who want to go further and those who simply want to learn the everyday language and understand what Spanish people say in the street, at home or in bars or football stadiums.
