I am passionately fanatical about science and nature. I wish to enhance or create intrigue, love and care for science, nature, our planet and all the beings on it. Science is cool and I would love to be able to open up minds to this. I have a BSc Biomedical Sciences degree, specialising in microbiology but having done modules in anatomy, disease, cells, neurobiology, environment etc I am an actor and can bring my enthusiasm to every class, as well as being relatable and not pushy. Whatever the age of someone I will teach, they will be treated with respect and spoken to in the same way-we are all equal!

Hi! I'm Erwin, a neuroscientist originally from Germany. Apart from research and teaching, I like to engage myself in challenges. Next up: full distance triathlon. I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in neuroscience and have tutored other students throughout exam periods. My background also includes published scientific research at several institutes throughout Europe, allowing me to connect classroom concepts to real scientific discoveries. Rather than focusing on memorization alone, I help students understand the "why" behind scientific concepts so they can apply their knowledge with confidence. Join me on a virtual interactive South African safari experience that is great for groups and corporate team building events We will take a look at the beautiful world of some of the most amazing animals on earth by exploring footage of the great savannas, grasslands, and wetlands of Southern Africa and virtually encounter my favorite animals that we would normally encounter on an outdoor Safari. I will guide you, as if on safari, and discuss the animal's behaviors, habitats, and appearances to learn why they are so special and essential pieces to the ecosystem. With your help and some activities, we will encounter the Big 5 along with some other key animals founds in the wild. Learn how to identify the animals by sight and sound. The goal of this experience is not to be a lecture on the animals but rather a more engaging and fun virtual tour. Other things to note I won't be going out and looking for the animals but we will view footage of the animals in South Africa so we can accurately see their behaviors and appearance. This is not a lecture but rather an interactive activity to learn about the animals you will find in South Africa
