My Spanish lessons aim to make Spanish a living language. Through dynamic activities and exercises connected to everyday personal and professional life, I guide students to become active participants in their own learning. I cater to each student's specific needs and motivations for learning Spanish. I have extensive experience as a teacher in several countries. I am a certified independent teacher (DADIC) from the Cervantes Institute and also hold degrees in journalism and art. In my Spanish lessons, I incorporate many activities that broaden general knowledge in a practical way while learning Spanish. I only use other languages in specific situations where students need them for communication.
In my singing lessons, you will discover your unique voice, the one that allows you to express your emotions and feelings, to connect with an audience, and to create sonic worlds by telling stories and bringing characters to life, in harmony with the spirit of the work and its composer. There are no boundaries in music when it comes to singing. Through vocal exercises, warm-ups, and sung excerpts from various musical genres, we will explore vocal placement and the tonalities that best suit your vocal range and tessitura. We will work on interpretation, nuances, and the overall aesthetic of vocal technique, as well as the understanding and interpretation of sung texts.
In this course, we will read and analyze journalistic texts in Spanish, as well as literary texts, express our opinions, and also write our own texts on a current event or a fictional narrative. I am a journalism graduate from Javeriana University in Colombia. I have published press articles on music and film. I am also a certified DADIC language teacher in Spain and a graduate in Dramatic Arts from Morocco.
