I explain to my students why before asking them to memorize and practice, so that they fully understand the purpose of the lesson. I encourage them to ask questions freely so they can progress quickly, completing in two hours work that would normally take three hours, while enriching their thinking and moving away from a traditional and boring learning pace. The fundamental point is to encourage them to find the solutions themselves, because a solution that is simply given to them is often forgotten five minutes later.
I believe that sharing my knowledge and experience is one of the most important aspects of education. Knowledge only has real value when it is transmitted, explained, and explained again, with the aim of helping my students learn to think for themselves and gradually become independent in their learning.
