Ableton Live and Logic Pro are two of the most widely used tools for creating music on a computer. I designed these courses to teach you the basics of DAW (Digital Audio Workstation): an overview of the necessary equipment, multitrack recording methods, the use of real and virtual instruments, creating rhythms and beats, adding sound effects, and final mixing.
I also offer an introduction to synthesis (i.e., the use of synthesizers) for electronic music composition, as well as an introduction to an AKAI MPC.
But first and foremost, how can you have fun while letting your creativity flow, whatever your style of music!
I have been using DAW software for over 20 years (Cubase, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reason, etc.) and adapt my courses according to the needs and levels of my students.
At the end of our courses you will be able to:
• Record and mix your compositions on Ableton Live or Logic
• Create your own beats on an Akai MPC
• Record sounds in nature and transform them into soundscapes for your own compositions
