When I prepare a lesson, I put myself in the student's shoes and ask myself what they might want or need to do in order to learn the language. For this reason, the lessons are always tailor-made and will allow you to learn the language at your own pace. During the lesson, you’ll be able to practise all the skills you need to study the language. We always start with a listening activity or a reading text, and then move on to writing or speaking. Of course, you’ll also study grammar, but it won’t be the main focus of the lesson, because the ultimate goal is always communication – written or spoken. The material used is authentic. This means you’ll listen to real-life recordings, podcasts, interviews, or Italian songs, and read newspaper articles, advertisements, emails, and much more. In short, you’ll have the chance to hear and read everything a native speaker would, with no simplification. I’ll take care of all the materials you need for the lesson and for studying at home.

Trusted teacher: Hello everyone. My name is Vero and I teach Spanish, Italian, and English at different levels. I'm a curious, organized, and very communicative person. I love hiking in nature, going to the beach, dancing, cooking (and of course, eating!), traveling, and discovering new cultures. I thoroughly enjoy good conversations, whether on profound or completely unexpected topics. I'm passionate about meeting people from all over the world, sharing ideas, and learning from every experience. I firmly believe that learning a language goes beyond memorizing rules: it's about connecting, expressing yourself, and opening up to new ways of seeing the world. That's why, as a teacher, I strive to create a friendly, dynamic environment tailored to your interests and needs. My approach is 100% practical and adapts to each student's needs and goals. Therefore, from the beginning, I will tailor the classes to your needs, whether you want to improve your conversational skills, prepare for an exam, communicate better in your daily life, or learn a new language for a trip or a life change. I offer dynamic classes focused on real-life situations and designed to help you overcome your fear of speaking from the very beginning. I work with a variety of materials (audio, text, videos, interactive exercises) and help you develop all your language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I know all too well how overwhelming and frustrating learning a new language can sometimes be. That's why I'll guide you with patience, empathy, clarity, and a lot of motivation to make it a fun and enriching experience. So, if you're looking for effective, enjoyable, and goal-focused classes, feel free to book a session with me. See you soon!

Trusted teacher: Hello, My name is Giorgia. I hold a PhD in Italian from the Department of Romance Studies at UNC-University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also hold a Ph.D. in Contemporary Philosophy focusing on Italian and French Aesthetics. I worked for fifteen years as a translator from French into Italian. My academic research is interdisciplinary and combines literary criticism and philosophy. My research interests include the relationship between contemporary Italian and French literature, the Italian and French avant-garde movements in literature and film, and the interactions between literature, philosophy, the arts, and film. For seven years, I have taught Italian at the elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels, and also taught a course on Italian cinema. In my teaching, I strive to contribute to improving conversational fluency, refining writing skills, and enriching vocabulary. Through contributions on art, history, politics, daily life, cinema, and Italian literature, I invite students to experience the complexity and richness of Italian culture and language. In addition to being my mother tongue, Italian is a language I love and enjoy teaching. My experience teaching Italian has allowed me to experiment with many different teaching methods, find my own unique teaching style, and, above all, develop teaching activities that have proven very effective with students from the United States, France, and many other countries. My courses are aimed at all students who wish to master spoken and written Italian, those who want to pass the Agrégation and/or CAPES Italian exams, but also those who wish to cultivate the study of Italian to progress even simply in conversation. Thank you for your attention. Giorgia
