I have been a past English literature GCSE Edexcel and a A-level AQA board B student and believe this experience has taught me clearly how to provide best to different students needs. The texts I have studied for GCSE are Macbeth, Blood Brothers, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, poetry anthology (Also have done work on Othello and How to Kill a mockingbird) and for A levels my texts studied were Twelfth Night, A Doll's House, Kite runner, Comedy poetry anthology (coursework included Frankenstein and poetry). I'll mainly be focusing on content, exam knowledge as well as exam skills (however, I am open to giving feedback on the NEA coursework elements). I am open to new teaching methods and I will be able to work at flexible hours. My model essays and own resources will also be available for a more engaging teaching method. Johnathan is an exceptionally talented teacher. My son started his Spanish as L3 in a European school 3 years behind his classmates when we moved to Belgium. Thanks to Johnathan he was able to catch up with his class and (according to his school Spanish teacher) is now as good or better than his classmates - all within a year of weekly 1 hour lessons with Johnathan. Since the start of the pandemic the lessons moved online but remained as high quality as ever. Johnathan is also brilliant at using the technology to teach.

I have worked with Maria for a few weeks now. She has been really helpfully in a number of areas - identifying where I need improvement through conversation, listening to what I wanted to achieve from the sessions, and then mixing the two to produce really helpful lessons.
