Korean Lessons for All Levels — Taught by an Experienced Native Speaker with 7+ Years of Teaching ExperienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, I'm Heewon from South Korea, currently living in the Netherlands. I've been teaching Korean for over 7 years, to students ranging from 7-year-old kids to learners in their 50s, and from over a dozen different countries across Europe, the US, Asia, and the Middle East. My students' goals have been just as diverse that some simply want a fun hobby, while others are preparing for exchange programs, the TOPIK exam, or even university admission in Korea. Teaching this many different people has taught me a lot too. I've come to understand where students commonly struggle depending on linguistic background, and how to adjust my approach accordingly. I genuinely love this job. Helping a student reach their goal, or simply being able to have a real conversation with them in my native language, gives me a lot of joy and pride that's hard to describe unless you've experienced it. I also love sharing Korean culture with people from such different backgrounds which is one of my favorite parts of teaching. You can check lesson details. - Lessons built on my own grammar, vocabulary, and expression materials developed over 7+ years, no boring textbooks - Once the basic tenses are covered, we shift into free conversation in Korean, where you'll naturally pick up real slang and expressions native speakers actually use - I use authentic Korean media that variety shows, dramas, and movies to keep lessons engaging and relevant - Lessons are tailored to each student's level and goals, whether that's a hobby, exchange student prep, TOPIK, or university admission - Years of teaching students from many different countries have given me a strong sense of how cultural background affects the way people learn Korean

Who ? I am 51 years old and have been a French teacher for 27 years in French-speaking secondary education in Belgium. For three years now, I have decided to follow the entrepreneurial path by offering freelance courses. With hindsight today, I regret not having done it sooner as the exchange with new people, young and old, French-speaking or not, is particularly enriching. What? I offer French or FLE courses based on multiple sources and I renew them regularly because it is important to be in adequacy with the current society. Or ? I go to the learner's home where we decide to do the course online. When? I work at the Belgian-Luxembourg border and I go to Luxembourg 4 to 5 times a week, usually at the beginning or end of the afternoon. I am also available on weekends. Who? Portuguese language and culture lessons with a native speakerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Portuguese language and culture lessons with a native speakerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

De echte Portugese ervaring! Advantages of learning a new language: Learning a new language is fun. But what I’m (and you should be) after is not bilingualism but instead biculturalism. We think by aid of words. Therefore language shapes thought. In part this is because working in a second language slows down the thinking. No wonder people feel different when speaking a second language. And no wonder they feel looser, more spontaneous, perhaps more assertive or funnier or blunter. Studies show that being able to speak another language is generally linked to a more flexible brain, developing the brain’s ability to plan and prioritize. Also it betters our defenses against dementia in old age. Advantages of learning Portuguese: • 250 million native speakers worldwide • 5th most common language in the world • It has been an official language since 1297 • It’s usage is spread over 4 continents (Europe, South America, Africa, Asia) Now business, For the past 5 years I've had more than 50 students and based on experience I recommend the following lesson duration (minutes): Age gap 0-6 | 7-12 | 13-17 | 18-45 | 45-64 | 65+ Duration 30 | 30-45 | 45-60 | 60 | 60-45 | 45-30 Focus on diverse subjects is possible, for example, grammar, diction, reading comprehension, written production, conversational skills. Because the goal of most students is the ability to communicate, I’ve been developing my classes that way. I have acquired extra audio media specially for you :) to hear Portuguese being spoken at a different pace, accent and voice tone. My method is based on a book (that I myself bring to the class and the student doesn’t need to acquire) which I'm fairly familiar by now. But what I really like is to talk to the student. So the book will be used to present the gramatical structure of the language while also serving as an inspiration platform for conversation topics. Periodically we will evaluate how the classes are evolving so as to rapidly and effectively shift focus to where it is needed.

Jade is a truly excellent teacher of the French language with whom I have been having lessons for over a year. She’s is not only a native French speaker, but holds degrees in Linguistics, Teaching and Business, and has significant experience of teaching French over many years. The benefit of this is that she is able to effortlessly teach at any level, with a focus on actually speaking the language in conversation. We have had discussions about things as simple as ordering food in a restaurant to subjects as complex as planning application submissions and urbanism rules (I am an architect). I am certainly not a natural linguist, but through her teaching I have gone from someone who was nervous about ordering a croissant in French, to gaining the confidence to deal with the complex language found in the workplace, and in day-to-day life in France. I would highly recommend Jade, whether you are visiting Paris for a short holiday and want to brush up on some vocabulary, or have moved here permanently and want to broaden your command of the French language.

My teenage daughter studied English with Amalia, and I can give only very positive recommendations. Amalia was always very helpful, dedicated and patient. She coached my daughter before each school test to get her better prepared. I could see that my daughter welcomes each lesson, which is totally a credit to Amalia's teaching style. Amazingly, Amalia was giving me as a parent a feedback after each lesson on how it went, what they were focusing on and how my daughter was prepared for that. Such ongoing feedback to the parent of a teenager is a great relief! Should we need more support next year,we will definitely contact Amalia

Lorette was great! In Nice with my daughter who is taking AP French in Seattle. Lorette met us at a local cafe and quickly narrowed in on my daughter (and my) level of French competency. She struck a nice balance of correcting mistakes and allowing the conversation to flow naturally. By the end of the day she had followed up via email with some exercises and grammar resources that were relevant to our lesson. Highly recommend Lorette if you're in Nice (or looking for a great French tutor online). We would likely continue with her online were it not for the 9 hour timezone difference. Merci beaucoup Lorette!
