IGCSE & GCSE Chemistry Tutor | Exam Preparation for Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA & OCRTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Are you preparing for your **IGCSE or GCSE Chemistry exams** and aiming for an **A/A*** or the highest possible grade? This course provides **structured, exam-focused Chemistry tutoring** designed to strengthen your understanding, improve your problem-solving skills, and help you turn your knowledge into marks. With **10+ years of experience teaching international Chemistry curricula** and a background in Pharmacy, I help students understand difficult concepts, master calculations, and develop the exam techniques needed for high performance. ### Curricula Supported * Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry * Edexcel IGCSE Chemistry * AQA GCSE Chemistry * Edexcel GCSE Chemistry * OCR GCSE Chemistry ### What We Cover **Complete syllabus preparation**, including: * Atomic structure and the periodic table * Chemical bonding and structure * Stoichiometry and quantitative chemistry * Acids, bases and salts * Energetics and rates of reaction * Equilibrium * Organic Chemistry * Electrolysis and redox reactions * Experimental techniques and practical Chemistry * Data analysis and interpretation ### Exam Preparation & Past Papers Students develop the skills needed to convert their Chemistry knowledge into exam marks through: * Structured and extended exam questions * Step-by-step calculation practice * Past-paper solving * Mark-scheme analysis * Understanding command words * Graphs, tables and experimental data * Identifying common mistakes * Improving answer structure and precision * Time-management strategies ### Teaching Approach Many students understand the Chemistry but still lose marks because they are not fully prepared for the way exam questions are written. My approach focuses on: **Understand → Apply → Practice → Analyze → Improve** Students learn how to apply concepts to unfamiliar questions, solve problems systematically, recognize what the examiner is looking for, and avoid common sources of lost marks. Each student receives a **personalized study plan** based on their current level, areas of weakness, upcoming exams and target grade. Whether you are **building your foundation, catching up on difficult topics, preparing for mocks, or targeting an A/A***, lessons are tailored to your individual needs.

Inspiring and enthusiastic chemistry and maths tutor with 8 years of experience.Translate this text using Google Translate.

have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, o-level, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I use Google drive and docs to share files.

Intasar helped my children with IB Chemistry and Physics. He's creative in various ways of explaining both theory and practice. Very friendly and helpful, he's also hands-on with those subjects on a profound level. We are happy to continue our lessons with Intasar.

Dr. Aymen was a huge help in teaching me first-year college chemistry. We covered both organic and inorganic chemistry, and his lessons were structured around my professor's requirements. His clear explanations and guidance made a big difference—highly recommend!

The class was really nice and I’ve learned so many things thanks to her and she would always takes her time to explain to me what I didn’t understand right away. Alhamdulilah everything went well.
