Trusted teacher: I am currently on the verge of completion of the MSc Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces at Imperial College London. Previously I have completed my BSc (Research) Physics from Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, India. Physics is a subject which we could visualize, realize and have fun with in our daily lives. However with the ever increasing advancements in our technologies physicists have gotten accustomed to dealing with areas of physics where intuition doesn't come up that easily namely quantum mechanics. However, this too has been a result of centuries of progress, enabled due to the works of some of the brilliant minds in the past. Being a part of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) for the past 4 years, I have been fortunate enough to engage with various scientific outreach events such as International Conference Physics Students (ICPS) and ‘School Day’. Through these platforms I gained familiarity in presenting my research work in the most lucid way possible. This also gave me an opportunity to engage with school students whilst demonstrating interesting scientific experiments. Having served as the associate secretary and secretary for the Physics Society at Shiv Nadar University I also got an opportunity to myself mentor and lead a team of mentors to teach 8th – 10th graders on topics such as Electromagnetic Induction and suitable topics related to cleaner and alternative sources of energy. This enabled me to even interact with hosting faculties and gain their feedback on the teaching methodology. Thus, I hope I can be instrumental in helping you understand various concepts in the subject and hopefully deliver a deeper insight with regards to the beauty of the subject.
