Hello, hi :) I'm Mia, your future private art tutor if you're interested! I'm a visual artist working across different mediums, from more classical forms like drawing and painting to multimedia practices such as video and performance. I graduated from a high school of art and design in France, continued my studies at the School of Fine Arts in Geneva HEAD, and I'm currently finishing a specialization in choreography at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. I'm offering a series of personalized art classes that can focus on various mediums, whether you're looking to explore new artistic tools, prepare for entrance exams to art schools, or simply nurture your curiosity. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Here are three class options to start with: Sketching and Drawing Learn the basics of observational drawing and graphic composition. We can focus on a specific subject or go on walks to observe and draw what we see in our surroundings. Video An introduction to video basics and editing software. We’ll explore how to use cameras in a raw, intuitive way and understand the logic behind lighting and other technical tools. Art School Preparation Guidance in building a portfolio, formatting and laying out documents, and exploring different printing techniques. Ideal for those preparing to apply to art schools or looking to expand their artistic practice. Feel free to reach out with questions or specific interests. Mathematics lies at the heart of science. It is a beautiful subject that inspires passion in many people. Learning mathematics quickly can depend on several factors—your natural abilities, environment, and more. But here’s the good news: everyone has the potential to understand and even master mathematics. It may take time, but with patience and the right guidance, you can do it. My goal is to help you overcome any difficulties you may have with mathematics and show you that you are capable. In my class, you will learn to think differently. Math isn’t just about solving complex problems—t’s about understanding what those problems mean and how they connect to the world around us. Sometimes, they even reflect real-life situations. The biggest challenge in math is often its level of abstraction. But that’s also what makes it beautiful: its truths are universal. Once you begin to engage deeply with a problem, you might even realize it’s simpler than you first thought. Are you a high school student preparing for a math test, working on homework (note: I won’t just give you the answer—I’ll help you discover it), or getting ready for university? Or are you a bachelor’s student looking for mentorship in algebra, analysis, geometry, probability, or statistics? If so, you’re very welcome! I offer lessons in English or French.
