Trusted teacher: Merhaba! About me: I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities, and I suppose I gained success. 😀 I have been teaching Turkish professionally for 15 years. I also taught Turkish for 4 years when I was a university student. Learning a new language opens a new window into a person; teaching Turkish is the same for me! As I build a stronger relationship with my students, I notice their engagement with the Turkish language also deepens. I could speak English well and a bit of Italian. I learned Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature and also a bit in music. Me as a Teacher: I hold firm to two main principles: providing a comfortable environment and creating an encouraging atmosphere. My students always tell me that I am patient, positive and well-organized. I have developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish much easier, more efficient and practical. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. You will not hesitate to make mistakes. After a while, you will realize your mistakes and start to correct yourself. Do you think that learning Turkish isn't easy? By progressing systematically in your learning journey, you will not feel the difficulties and will enjoy it. My lessons & teaching style: Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid knowledge of grammar because Turkish has a very different structure. I use a book set that Istanbul University prepares. The course book is structured with a strategic approach to learning Turkish by using all the language skills: reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking from A1 to C2. All these skills are essential for conversation. I will give you tips on how to study Turkish, so you can work more effectively and learn Turkish well. The workbook includes many exercises for homework or revision. I support the book with my authentic materials. I use a board that you can see anytime, and you can edit it, too. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons. I will share all the materials (books, audio, videos, authentic materials) with you according to your level. Notes: There are 5 levels in total in Turkish: A1-A2 level (basic), B1-B2 level (intermediate), C1+ (advanced). You could complete all levels 2.5 times faster by having private lessons compared to group lessons. No matter what level you're at! Are you ready to start speaking? Don't worry about the rest; let's decide which level you learn Turkish. :) Turkish Lessons for Kids: You can contact me if you want your child to learn Turkish naturally with games, songs, learning cards, and educational videos. In this lesson for students between the ages of 5 and 16, I will help them love and speak Turkish. I will make your child feel comfortable while learning in my lessons with rich and fun materials. I teach (one-on-one) in my studio and online(internationally)covering painting and drawing techniques for beginners, advanced students, and aspiring art school applicants. I have a series of significant artistic achievements, having been awarded in the most prestigious international figurative art competitions—competitions that value study, hard work, and knowledge. I have studied art throughout my life and I always strive to reach a high level of performance, with the goal of passing on everything I have learned at the highest standard. Throughout my career, I have helped many individuals push their limits and improve their artistic techniques—some doing it as a hobby, others achieving exceptional results in the entrance exams for art and architecture universities. These courses are personalized for any level and age, following a systematic process. Topics include: portraiture, the human figure, anatomy, still life, landscapes, the science of light and shadow, drawing/painting techniques, color theory, perspective, design, etc. I am also open to collaborations for workshops in any city—art classes on various themes such as classical and realistic, impressionist, or even modern approaches, all based on principles learned from Old Masters’ techniques. These are systems and procedures taught only in Florence, where I also studied for a period. These techniques are not commonly known or practiced in schools in Romania. I am following a class with Başak to learn turkish. The lessons are held in english. This course covers pronunciation, grammar and free speaking which are also adapted to daily life situations as well as speaking about yourself. I have experienced a very well organized and structured teacher on a professional basis. The teacher gives clear instructions, pays attention to the pronunciation and corrects you when needed, which is crucial for the turkish pronunciation. The course fees contain the tuition as booked and course material as the class is accompanied by a book (workbook and exercise book) and audio files. The books are sent to you in advance, makes it very convenient to take a print out or as a digital version on your tablet/PC/phone. Between the lessons homework will be assigned and checked by her via mail and discussed in the next lesson. So far, I am very happy with the lessons and I am also confident that I will improve my turkish steadily in the future with her. Thanks
