By the time I graduated I got certified with the JLPT N1 (highest level) test. After graduation I worked for a top IT company in Tokyo where I used Japanese for work and also did some translation. Therefore I am well aware of the struggles of learning Japanese. I lived in Japan 6 years total and could already speak everyday Japanese from the moment I stepped into Japan (if my learning strategy and preparation worked for me then it must work for you as well!).
