About Me

My name is Francesca, and I am half Italian and half British, though I was born and raised in Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Leiden University, where I graduated cum laude.

Currently, I am completing a Research Master's program in Political Communication at the University of Amsterdam and a one-year Master's in Political Science at Leiden University. With a strong academic background in Political and Communication Science, coupled with practical expertise in essay writing and research methods, I am well-equipped to tutor high school and university students in their coursework and help them achieve their academic goals. Moreover, my role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Amsterdam has equipped me with specialized expertise in tutoring university students.

English Tutor and preparation for the IELTS certification

During my studies in Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam (graduated in 2015, MSc.) and in addition to my job as a consultant, I have always taught mathematics and statistics to secondary school students and university students (HBO and WO) with great pleasure. Since 2017 I have assisted students from different study backgrounds (from civil engineering to psychology) with writing their thesis and since 2022 I work parttime as a math teacher and educational advisor in the Emma Children's Hospital in Amsterdam and I teach private students.

This class is for basic mathematics and english as well as writing poems and essays. I believe that it is simple to learn without memorization but just understanding . I will provide enjoyment and creativity with the students and also some challenges that they will like as math is. Hello, I am Jai, and I have graduated from an American middle school and high school. I am interested in helping middle school, high school, or university students with their essay-writing and reading comprehension skills. The tutor sessions will vary, depending on your goals, motivations, and needs. For instance, if you have a school assignment, we can review your work and go over your strengths and weaknesses; if you want to improve your overall English, we can structure the session as if it were an English high school class (since that is what I am most familiar with). However, since learning a language requires one to read, write, listen, and speak the language, the session will inevitably touch upon these adjacent skills.
The areas I am most experienced with tutoring are: schoolwork, standardized English-language exams (e.g., TOEFL, SAT, AP English Literature and Composition), and proofreading university-level academic writing.

Hey! My name is Yasmin, I was born in Denmark, mainly raised in the Netherlands, but moved more than 14 times to different countries and cities. I have always attended an international school and received my Bachelor's degree in English & Pre-Law from the University of California Santa Barbara last summer. I have decided to continue my studies and am currently studying international & European law.

I'm currently undertaking a PhD in Global Environmental Politics at the University of Lincoln (UK) but based in Amsterdam. I have previously completed an MSc in Environmental Policy at the London School of Economics (LSE, UK) and a BA in Philosophy at the University of Bristol (UK).
