I am a qualified chartered accountant, ACCA and CMA, accounting and finance professional with extensive academic and practical experience in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Corporate Governance. I hold professional qualifications in accounting and finance and have more than 10 years of professional experience across auditing, finance, internal controls, risk management, and financial reporting, including experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors.

As a tutor, I focus on making accounting and finance simple, practical, and easy to understand, rather than relying only on theoretical explanations. My name is Tom and I obtained my master's degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge about topics such as business economics, economics, finance and accounting with everyone I mentor! During and after my studies I worked at an investor, investment bank and scientific research institute, and I am currently setting up my own company. I have been tutoring regularly since 2020; both to high school students and to adults pursuing a master's degree.
