If he or she wants to learn how to write or spell better, or would like guidance with homework or with making a paper, a book summary or a speaking assignment, then I would like to help. Are you taking VWO or Havo exams this year? Dutch is the stumbling block. Practicing on a high level also guarantees better results for other subjects (Biology, Mathematics, Physics, classical & modern foreign languages, Art, Social Sciences, etc.). Also supervision of profile assignment and preparation (oral) Literature. Possibly also E-learning; check / discuss / supervise training online / via FaceTime. For lessons on location (at home with student or elsewhere), price is ex. travel expenses. Training can also be done together with others; you then pay every proportional part of the hourly rate. Having lived in several different countries I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language and to put it into practice. Especially Dutch, with it's unusual pronunciations and structures. During our lessons I will explain how to deal with such issues and show you that Dutch is actually quite a structured language and a lot less complicated that often suggested. I am a positive and optimistic person and this is also how I teach. I focus on how to do things right rather than wasting energy on why things are wrong. This creates a nice learning atmosphere and it also makes the course much more productive. I like to have an open communication with my students and encourage them to let me know what their difficulties are and what they want to improve. When learning a language it is very important that you can quickly put into practice what you have learned. This naturally motivates you to learn more. For that reason I find it important that it is clear from the beginning what the language needs and wishes of my students are so we can work towards your goals in an effective way and make sure you are able to apply what you have learned as soon as possible. The reason why I like teaching so much is because I enjoy showing people what they are capable of and to help them develop their skills. Another reason is that it allowes me to open the door for you to a great language and culture!

I am a native Italian speaker, interpreter and translator. I have a bachelor’s degree in cultural and linguistic mediation, and I have completed a master’s degree program in modern languages for international communication with the highest marks in September. Thanks to my degrees and experience as a translator and teacher, I have acquired professional proficiency of the Italian language for teaching and translating purposes. Currently, I live in the Netherlands, where I’ve just completed a traineeship at Leiden University as an Italian teacher for foreigners. I have a strong passion for teaching and I've already experience teaching languages (English and Italian)

English is the main language of the world; it is a language in which most people communicate with each other. Most podcasts, books, films and series are often made in this beautiful language. That is why it is very important nowadays to be able to speak and listen well in English. You really can't start studying English early enough. That's why I'm here for you, if you want to take your English to the next level - however young or old you are. In my lessons we will work with this important and special language as much as possible via webcam or at a location somewhere in Amsterdam or at your home; vocabulary, speaking skills, accents, interesting texts we will all go through and practice very well with me as a teacher so that you can also converse flawlessly in English!!

A beginner English student is focused on learning essential vocabulary, such as family names, household objects, basic adjectives, and place names. Beginners are also becoming familiar with subject pronouns, frequently used verbs, and modal expressions. In other words, I'll highlight the Eight Part of Speech in English. They may study some grammar and syntax, but these lessons will mostly focus on basic concepts, such as asking questions, reading or constructing simple sentences.
