I've been playing chess for over 5 years now, I've gotten an online rating of 2000 and I've played a couple FIDE rated and national-rated tournaments. I'm looking to share my knowledge about chess, from beginner to intermediate. I can help with middle-game strategy, as well as lessons about tactics, openings, and some specific endgames.

About Me

I am Robbie, I am 16 years old and I'm looking to share my knowledge about music, chess and math. I play the piano but I also have some knowledge about playing the guitar. I've been playing chess for multiple years and I've played several FIDE and national rated tournaments. I've also competed in the Belgian math olympiad and finished as a laureate.

Education

I'm still in high school, I'm majoring in Latin-Maths, I'm going to public school in Belgium and have been taking Latin classes for over four years now. I have taken piano classes from multiple different teachers over the years. I've also taken chess classes for over 5 years now.

Chess is an amazing game I think everyone should learn. To start I will teach you how to play in a beginner friendly way by focusing less on the theory and more on tactics and rules you should follow during your game so you always have a good position. Then when you're excited about that we can move on to theory so you need less time worrying about what to play. I make my own courses and i will teach you how to use an online database so you have all the skills necessary to improve further. I specialize in teaching people on the autism spectrum.

I myself am 1700 Elo online and 1634 National Elo. I still study/practice very regularly myself, but I would like to help people who hit a “plateau” early on and are stuck at a low level. Because I have reached a reasonable level after 2 years of self-study and I am still growing, I think I can help people up to 1400 elo. Why? I want to gain experience and see if I can really help people. How? I answer your questions as best as possible and based on your games and questions we decide on which themes you should focus.
