Beyond performing, Karen is passionate about teaching. I’m a Brazilian cellist currently based in Barcelona. I hold a Master’s degree in Cello Performance from Azusa Pacific University (Los Angeles), where I studied with a full scholarship and worked as a teaching assistant.

I’m now a doctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona, focusing on music performance and culture.

I have performed with orchestras in Brazil and the U.S., and I truly enjoy sharing my passion for music with students of all ages. My lessons are creative, structured, and adapted to each student’s goals — always with sensitivity and joy.
