Hello to you all! After obtaining a Master in "European Literatures and Philologies" at the University of Pisa, I devoted myself to teaching for 4 years, as a language assistant and professor in several French schools. I also gave adult classes. I like to make good contact with the people I teach, because teaching is also learning from others and laughing together. There are no bad students, so I believe that every person has the right to a personal method to learn well: first of all, the language must be practiced through oral and a little grammar, but also through all that is cultural, like theatre, music, cooking, art. I use some lyrics for this, but also videos and songs.

Hola! Would you like to learn Spanish in an interactive way with a focus on speaking? Do you love Latin American culture as much as I do? Say no more! We first look at where you are now and what you would like to achieve and I adjust my lesson based on that. Having lived in Ecuador, I know all too well how important it is to be truly immersed in a language. That's why I think practice is very important: talking about your interests! Because... one learns by doing :D Not: pure theory and rules while sitting down Do: theory and practice - we chat a lot and get to work with photos, music, cooking, etc... The lessons are standard at my home in Ghent Center (negotiable in Aalter). Due to training, I will not be available one Thursday and Friday per month until January '25. The other weeks and on Saturdays.

Learning Chinese from a non-native speaker definitely has its advantages. After all, I have learned it myself as a young adult and know exactly what the stumbling blocks and difficulties are. After having lived in China for 14 years, first as a scholarship student and later working in the business world and the cultural sector, I still enjoy going back to China as often as possible. In the meantime, I have more than 20 years of experience teaching at all ages and at all levels, and I have developed flexible methods to optimally teach both spoken and written Chinese. Experience with private lessons for toddlers, primary and secondary school children, professionals from different fields, as well as with all ages, motivations and levels in adult education in Kortrijk, Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent. What my students most often give as feedback is that learning Chinese is really fun and fascinating, and that my enthusiasm and passion for this beautiful language and Chinese writing is very contagious.
