In this course, we will cover the basics of photography (ISO, shutter speed, aperture,...). The goal is to help you understand the technical basics, without it being too complicated either. More than anything, what matters to me is that you can take control of your camera, and then be able to really use it in the moments that matter to you. Depending on your needs, we can approach how to photograph a landscape, a person, etc., so that it is as close as possible to the expected result. The goal is to develop your eye over time, because in my opinion that is the best way to learn: by doing.

Photographer for over 10 years, holder of a CFC, and self-employed since 2020, I am active in the field of weddings, portraits, landscape photography and concerts. In other words, reporting in all its forms. Capturing what is happening in front of me and transcribing it into photos, with my eye and my sensitivity, is a passion that has driven me for years, and it is what I am keen to pass on to you.

About Me

Always passionate about photography, I made it my career in 2016. I am a very sociable person, and I love getting to know people. I never liked sitting in a chair listening to an uninteresting lecture, that's why I try to make my lessons as dynamic as possible.

I believe I am a deeply caring and empathetic person. I've always hated being made to feel stupid when I don't know something, that's why there are no stupid questions with me! I want my students to feel confident in learning.

My main activity being wedding photography, this leads me to meet a lot of different people, sometimes from other countries. I am used to expressing myself in English on a daily basis, which is why I offer my photography lessons in English, as well as English lessons, period!

Education

I first completed a high school diploma at the Yverdon Gymnasium, then I obtained my CFC as a photographer at the CEPV in Vevey. I continually train in portraiture and wedding photography through workshops.
