I study English and Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham. I have experience in writing and have published many articles in the Redbrick Newspaper. My original poem in the International Phonetic Alphabet has been 'highly commended' in the 2020 Language for Literature Competition. I am the CAL Ambassador at the UoB, and also a Student Rep. I was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Scholarship to study at the UoB. I have scored 98% in English in grade 12th (A level equivalent). I have also got a Medal of Distinction and a Certificate of Distinction by getting the 25th zonal rank in the first level of International English Olympiad in the same grade. My school rank was the first. I qualified for the second level and got the certificate of Zonal Excellence for the 22nd zonal rank too. I have also been awarded with trophies of Overall Proficiencies and scholar badges, every year from the grade 6th to 10th for a 10/10 CGPA. Would you like to learn how to write poetry or develop your poetic craft with the assistance of an experienced teacher? In this class, we'll work on shaping new drafts whilst learning about international poetic forms as well as producing some free verse work. We'll edit our material and, if we have multiple sessions, we'll put together a brief collection! We will explore the world of the senses, memories, and connect to language in a new, profound way. My course is not prescriptive, and we'll meet your voice wherever you're at right now. You'll be taught by a published poet with work experience in the UK and North America. I've taught Creative Writing to university students at a world-leading school, and worked with younger audiences, and I'm happy to work with a variety of forms in English. I studied for my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, and won a scholarship as the strongest poet in my cohort.

After graduating from the University of Warwick with a first class degree in English and Theatre, and securing one of eight places for writers at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School this year, I want to extend my passion into helping others discover their linguistic flair; tackling the whole spectrum from crafting character, to constructing dialogue and beyond. I've written a dozen plays in the last year alone, so consider myself well acquainted with the pitfalls and complex methodologies of this often tricky art. I specialise and have years of experience, skills and training in SEN as well as many other subjects. Therefore, I'm qualified in supporting and providing primary age children who have learning difficulties and need full support in any subject from Key Stages 1-2. Updates on your child's progress and homework will also be provided regularly. This includes full support given to mainstream children who do not have learning difficulties but need some tuition in English, Maths or Science etc. Exam support for those preparing for their SATS in Key Stages 1 - 2 will also be given. All children will be provided with homework on a weekly basis. I like to give parents of young children regular updates on how their child is progressing. For older children or adults, I can provide support with coursework, essay writing and exam support, just ask! My teenage daughter had tuition from myself whilst studying for her GCSE's this year. She managed to pass all of her subjects, and got a distinction in English, amongst other subjects! I like to build a good professional rapport with all my students and to allow them to really think critically whilst learning. Ancient India valued teachers highly for their selfless service, high learning, and morality. Teachers are the ones who help students to see reality as it is. Hello!! I am a Primary Teaching student in my last year of my degree. I teach educational reinforcement classes in all subjects to children between 3 and 12 years old. I have a lot of experience since I have worked in two different schools, with children individually and as a volunteer in scout-type groups.

I am a passionate English Literature student at the University of Kent with years of Creative Writing experience. I've studied writing at the University of Amsterdam, have written and directed my own play, and have been published by various student papers, zines and online publications. I'm seeking to offer support to up to First Year University students in English language and literature studies, as well as helping students develop their critical and creative voice in their writing.
