Engaging with English Literature and Creative Writing
I study English and Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham. I have experience in writing and have published many articles in the Redbrick Newspaper. My original poem in the International Phonetic Alphabet has been 'highly commended' in the 2020 Language for Literature Competition. I am the CAL Ambassador at the UoB, and also a Student Rep. I was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Scholarship to study at the UoB. I have scored 98% in English in grade 12th (A level equivalent). I have also got a Medal of Distinction and a Certificate of Distinction by getting the 25th zonal rank in the first level of International English Olympiad in the same grade. My school rank was the first. I qualified for the second level and got the certificate of Zonal Excellence for the 22nd zonal rank too. I have also been awarded with trophies of Overall Proficiencies and scholar badges, every year from the grade 6th to 10th for a 10/10 CGPA.
I am here for whatever you need me - whether that be creative writing sessions, or a topic specific preparation for a test in English Literature, I can provide you the same. We can work together in achieving your goal. I can make you feel comfortable about yourself and your studies, as my work surrounds mental health. If you are shy to meet new people, that's no problem - as I said, we'd work together.

Poetry Writing for Beginners and Intermediate Writers
Would you like to learn how to write poetry or develop your poetic craft with the assistance of an experienced teacher? In this class, we'll work on shaping new drafts whilst learning about international poetic forms as well as producing some free verse work. We'll edit our material and, if we have multiple sessions, we'll put together a brief collection! We will explore the world of the senses, memories, and connect to language in a new, profound way. My course is not prescriptive, and we'll meet your voice wherever you're at right now.
You'll be taught by a published poet with work experience in the UK and North America. I've taught Creative Writing to university students at a world-leading school, and worked with younger audiences, and I'm happy to work with a variety of forms in English. I studied for my MFA in Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia, and won a scholarship as the strongest poet in my cohort.

Creative/Drama Writing Tuition (available to students of any experience level)
Is there an idea you can't quite get off the ground, or are you curious about how to foster an underlying voice? I'm proud to offer tuition in the realm of creative writing, be it for the page, stage or screen, to people at all stages of their artistic journey. My personal tuition philosophy means that every session is curated for your individual needs and interests, and I will consistently request feedback to ensure no time is wasted on material you don't find enriching. After graduating from the University of Warwick with a first class degree in English and Theatre, and securing one of eight places for writers at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School this year, I want to extend my passion into helping others discover their linguistic flair; tackling the whole spectrum from crafting character, to constructing dialogue and beyond. I've written a dozen plays in the last year alone, so consider myself well acquainted with the pitfalls and complex methodologies of this often tricky art. I hope to use these classes to help you develop more reliable writing practices and overcome the dreaded writer's block once and for all.

It is a matter of combining improvements in form with improvements in substance. For this, the sessions can for example take place according to your needs as follows:
a) Comments / proposals on the text that you will offer me b) Writing exercises based on a statement.
c) A series of precise and pragmatic recommendations and their application through style exercises.
Whether it is a novel, an essay, song lyrics, various texts, a biography or simply a report for professional or school purposes, it is about offering you elements personalized pedagogy:
- Study your text
- Build text, song lyrics etc
- Calmly polish the style
- Research and develop your lexical fields
- Differentiate between writing for oneself and writing for others
All this by combining theory and practice: Writing work from exercises then as part of a personal project.
During the sessions, you are guided in your writing project. The trainer accompanies you and teaches you the preparation method, gives you writing tools and helps you work on your style and your imagination.
The objective is multiple, including a reflection on one's own literary path, an introduction to the basic tools of style work and exercises on description.
Learning objectives:
- Identify your writing path.
- Mobilize your imagination.
- Learn and master the practical writing tools.
- Broaden its reflection on creation and professional and personal writing.

Trained in a European Grande Ecole & Ivy League University in the United States, specialized and has been working in Europe and North America for more than 16 years in this field, in reputable international institutions , also intervening in forums and conferences.
- Locations: Geneva - Lausanne - Friborg - Neuchâtel - Montreux - Basel - Sion - Sierre - Morges - Bienne. But currently and until further notice, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid.
These sessions, for which you have asked me, also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). Indeed, they have the advantage of face-to-face sessions (ex: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time) with additional advantages (ex: the entire session transcribed in writing on the chat). That is why, at your request, I continue to offer this option.
À la carte: evaluated and adapted to each personality.

"Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions."
Someone has rightly said that teachers give us comic artists, filmmakers, astronauts, and entrepreneurs. Without teachers, we wouldn't have Superman, the Eiffel Tower, or the internet. Youths are the nation's future, and teachers are the creators of the backbone of this nation. However, being a teacher is much more than only giving away knowledge, lectures, and attending classes. Since ancient times, teachers have been considered a symbol of truth, beauty, and purity. Ancient India valued teachers highly for their selfless service, high learning, and morality.
Teachers are the ones who help students to see reality as it is. In the modern age, teachers help students to make academic decisions that will guide them toward success in their future careers.
